Chapter 51

Anne's POV

I was waiting in the waiting room at the hospital. I've been here for 3 hours and I've heard nothing. I can't even see him.

Waiting...waiting...and waiting.

I was so nervous. I stood up and paced around the waiting room waiting for something, anything really. I just want to know how he is. That's all i want to know. I don't need to see him at the moment i just need to know if he's alright.

"Please, God, help Harry, please. Please don't let him leave me. He's the only thing i have left. I don't know what I will do without him. I need him, Lord, please." I cried.

"If I may ask, what are you in for?" A lady asked a few chairs down.

I smiled a sad smile and sat down.

"Well, my sons girlfriend had cancer and she passed away a few days ago, and a few hours ago he tried to commit suicide..." I cried even harder at the thought.

"Oh my goodness. I'm sorry I asked." She said.

"No, it's alright, you-you didn't know. Um, how about you?"

"My son has Cystic Fibrosis. He almost stopped breathing, and it scared the hell out of me. I wasn't expecting something to happen so serious this early because his life expectancy is 35."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I wish you the best."

"Oh don't worry about me. Good luck with your son and I'm sorry for the loss of his girlfriend. She seems like a good person."

"Yeah, she was. And I bet she still is. She's been through a lot and I mean a lot..." I was interrupted.

"Mrs. Daniels, you can see him now." A nurse said.

"Ok, I'll be right there!" She yelled. "It was nice to meet you. And good luck with your son. I'll pray for him."

"Thank you. And I'll pray for yours as well."

"Think you very much. Goodbye." She said and left.

Again I was alone.

I waited and waited.

I was starting to get drowsy.

But then a nurse came out.

"Mrs. Styles?" She asked.

"Yes?"

"Um, well.. Harry is a fighter. A very big fighter, but...he couldn't fight hard enough. I'm sorry, Anne. We did every thing we possibly could, but it wasn't enough."

I didnt say a word,

But i bursted out into tears.
