It was late in the day, and starting to get dark out by the time they finished that day and Brad arrived to pick Jen up.
"All ready?" he asked and watched as Jen put one of his sweatshirts on. "hey that looks nice on you." he smiles.
"I had to cope with you being gone somehow." she giggled and grabbed his hand.
"Bye guys. I'll see you later." she waved and they headed outside.
Brad wrapped his arms around her as they walked to his car and kissed the top of her head. "I know I keep saying this but I missed you so much." he laughed and Jen looked up at him.
"I missed you too. I mean I only called you every five minutes."
"I'm glad you did." he said reaching the car and opening the door for her.
He drove them home and as soon as they stepped into the doorway he picked Jen up and spun her around. "I'm so glad I'm back." he smiled and kissed her nose. "oh and I have a surprise you for." he said winking.
He took her upstairs and brought out a box with a big bow on top. "For you."
Jen automatically ripped off the bow and stuck it on Brad. "Why did you do that?" he asked laughing.
"Because you're my present." she said and Brad immediatly kissed her with so much love that he had had to hold in these two months. "I'm never letting you go." he whispered tucking her hair behind her ears. "now open your other present." he said excitedly clapping his hands together.
She opened the box and pulled out a beautiful necklace with 2 connecting diamond hearts on the end. Tears immediatly went to her eyes and she covered her mouth.
"Brad... It's beautiful." she said on the verge of tears.
"read the card." He said handing it to her.
"Jen, I love you so much and I always will. We'll always be together, I know it. Because Loving you is forever.. loving you is everything. ~Brad."
Jen was now openly crying and looked up at him. "We'll always be together." she nodded and kisses him. She pulled away and he held her against his chest as she clung to him.
"Here put it on me." she handed it to him and he moved her hair to one side and put it on.
"perfect." he whispered and kissed her. He continued to stare at her and she blushed and looked down.
"stop staring at me." she giggled
"You're the most beautiful woman in the world. Have I ever told you that?"
Jen smiled wide and crawled onto his lap facing him. "Yes many times but I'm not."
"You are. And I'm the lucky guy that got you." he said running his fingers through her hair.
Jen sat up higher so that she was above Brads face and bent down and kissed him passionately. She clung to him tightly and silently began crying.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Brad asked sweetly.
"I.. Love.. You." she managed to get out between breathes. "so much."
"I love you too baby.. I love you too."
He rolled over her and looked into her eyes. "so what did you do while I was gone?"
"I did absolutely nothing but think about you and how much I missed you."
"same." he replied and layed back down on his side.
Jen cuddled up to him and a serious question entered his mind. "Hey, Jen.."
"mhmm?"
"Do you ever think about like.. getting married?" he said quietly tightening his grip around her.
"oh um wow well I guess sometimes yeah." looking up at him. "we'll cross that bridge when we get there." and she kissed his cheek and soon fell asleep in his arms.
