DOMINIC KNEW THAT what he and Agnes had done tonight would always be in his memory; she had changed him without notice. He had always thought he wasn't worth it, that he didn't deserve anything, but Agnes had shown him that people are not as mean as he thought and that he can be whatever he liked to be. Everything is possible. He would always be grateful for what she did.

They had begun to walk again, slowly and in silence. It was almost five in the morning according to Agnes and he couldn't believe that the time had passed so quickly, soon enough the sun would rise and Agnes would have to go home and he would have to figure out what to do with his life, now that he was homeless.

His hand was still intertwined with hers as they walked in the dark street. Her hand was soft and warm and felt it so right hold it that he wished that he could hold forever.

"What are you thinking, Dom?" Agnes asked breaking the silence.

He was taken by surprise and took a while to answer "Nothing"

A smiled appeared in her face "As if I believe in you" she rolled her eyes "But you don't have to tell me"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome..?" She was confused.

"Not only because of that" he shocked his head as stop walk "For everything you had done tonight, Agnes! You changed me, taught me how to see the good in people! Hell! You saw the good in me when nobody ever did"

The smile returned to her face as she stepped forward and put her arms around Dominic's waist, her head pressed against his chest and his arms slowly finding his way around her. He wished they could stay like this forever, so he could protect her from the world.

"You're good, Dom" she declared "Don't let people say otherwise"

And then, a smile appeared in his face.
