Chapter 11

The next morning the three teens walk down the stairs together, entering the kitchen they find Alex at the stove cooking pancakes, sausage, bacon and eggs. When he hears the kids enter he looks over his shoulder. "Morning kids, coffee is made, help yourselves, food will be done in a sec." Alex smiles as he give Billie a kiss on the cheek. "Why don't you grab some plates and silverware, while I finish this up." He suggests.

Billie walks to over to the cabinets, takes down several coffee cups and hands them to Louis, he fills those up while Harry sets the table. By the time they're done Alex has breakfast on the table. "Wow, do we eat like this every morning?" Louis asks as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"Yep." Harry says. "If Alex doesn't do the cooking Billie does or we leave early enough to stop by the bakery, Billie's brother, Greg and his wife Sara own it." Harry says.

Louis shakes his head. "Harry said you have eight brothers, do they all own eating joints or do some of the others do something else?" Louis asks.

"They do different things. Luke just got home from a four year tour with the Marines, so he's not doing anything right now." Alex says. "We have three that own eating establishments, one owns the grocery store, two the maintenance shop, one is the town's dentist and the other is one of the teachers at the school." Alex says. "Just not where you guys go to, he teaches elementary level."

"Amazing, Billie what are your plans after graduation? You going to college? I know Harry was planning to." Louis says. "He may have changed his mind with you two getting married."

"I'm not sure. I was planning on going to college also, but with Harry and I getting married, I guess I'll just wait and see what he decides to do." Billie says. "If he goes to college so will I, I'll just go to the same one he does." She says as Harry threads their fingers together.

"Harry? What are your plans?" Alex asks.

"Truthfully I was planning on moving back to the city as so as I graduated, but I didn't plan on falling in love with this beautiful, golden eyed, girl next to me." Harry says. "Now I'm not sure what I want other than to call her wife." He says. "I've been accepted into a pretty decent medical school not far from here, if Bill wants to go there with me, I might go there. If not we'll figure something else out later." He says.

Alex nods. "You have a little time to decide, I'm sure, between the two of you, you'll make the right decision." He says as he stands up to take his plate to the sink. "Eat up, you three need to be heading off to school."

Once they all finished eating they all piled into Billie's truck and headed to school, everyone is there when Harry pulls in, parking in her usual spot. Harry jumps out, helps Billie out while Louis exits from the passenger side.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me? Billie Jo, just let someone drive her precious truck." Tamera sneers as she and Daniel join the group.

Louis looks at the beautiful girl walking seductively toward Harry, he could tell by the way, Billie stiffens and Harry steps behind her to wrap his arms around her the she's not one of their friends, so he makes a mental note to stay away from her himself.

Billie threads her fingers through Harry's that's resting get on her stomach. "Yeah well it kinda half his now so he's allowed to drive it, just like I can drive his gorgeous car if I so desire." Billie says.

Daniel laughs. "Oh my word, did you guys hear that?" He asks his group of friends that followed him. "Little Billie wants everyone us to believe there's more between her and the city boy than just a passing fling." He chuckles. "Trust me babe, he's just like any guy, once he fucks you he'll dump you and move on to the girl."

Harry shakes his head. "If I wanted to do that I would have went for Tamera and her band of whores." Harry sneers. "Nope, sorry, not my style, no pun intended. I'm in this for the long haul." He says. "So if you'll excuse us we actually want to be on time for class." Harry says as he takes Billie's hand in his.

Tamera looks down, she sees Billie is wearing a ring, she's known her for years and has never know her to wear jewelry. "Wow, Billie what's gotten into you? You're wearing a ring. I've known you forever and I've never seen you wear even a necklace."

Billie let's go of Harry's hand only to wrap both arms around his waist. "Yeah, well, I've never had someone ask me to marry them either." She says.

Harry smiles. "We needed a way to show everyone here I'm hers, they didn't have engagement rings big enough to fit me." He smirks, making everyone laugh except Tamera and Daniel. "Come on Lou, we'll show you where the office is, good thing you have all your classes with Dana. She'll be able to tell you whose safe to make friends with and who to steer clear of."

Danaka threads her arm through Louis'. "Yep, stick with me, I'll keep you safe."

"Works for me." Louis says. "I hate drama, and attention seekers." Louis says as they walk by Tamera and Daniel.

"I think those two are perfect for each other." Billie whispers as she and Harry follows their friends.
