Chapter 16

Once Louis' parents left and things settled back down, Danaka walks over to Louis and sits down beside him. Taking his hand she plays with his fingers as she lays her head on his shoulder. "You okay?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'm good." Louis says. "Just surprised they made the effort to look for me after leaving like they did. Even Lottie wasn't with them, they left her with her boyfriend, she's two years younger than me. What kind of parents do that?" Louis asks pulling Danaka into his lap.

Danaka wraps her arms around Louis' neck. "I don't know Lou. I was raised differently than that, you see how Tommy is, my mom and dad don't treat him any different than me or Steven, wanting him to have a normal childhood. It's the other people in this town that treat him badly." Danaka says. "I guess that's why I was so shocked with the way you and Harry treated him when you first met him."

Louis kisses Danaka's cheek. "I love that kid, he's amazing. Of course I don't love him as much as I love his sister." Louis whispers as he tightens his hold on Danaka.

Danaka lays her head on Louis' shoulder. "I love you too. I'm so glad you moved here and I found you."

"Yeah, I can thank my parents for that." Louis smiles. "I'm not so pissed they took off now, if they hadn't I wouldn't have found you, fell in love, or been able to do this." Louis says as he sets a small box, with the lid open, on Danaka's knee, with a beautiful diamond ring in it. "I love you Dana, will you make me the happiest guy here and marry me?" Louis whispers.

Danaka gasp. "Oh God, yes. Louis I love you too." She cries as she hugs him.

Louis raises her head, kisses her, then places the ring on her finger. Then suddenly they have a small body slam into them. "Did you ask her?" Tommy asks. "I kept my mouth shut like you asked, Lou. Did I do good?"

Louis laughs as he pulls Tommy into his lap also. "You did great, Tom. Yes I asked, so now you don't have to keep our secret anymore."

Danaka laughs as Tommy hugs them both. "Yah, you're going to be my brother now." He yells drawing everyone's attention.

Harry and Billie grin as they walk toward their best friends. Giving them both hugs, and Billie admiring Danaka's ring. "Congratulations guys, we knew you two were perfect for each other." Harry says as he pulls Billie into his lap.

"Well, Harry, you're a sight for sore eyes." A female voice says.

Harry's head pops up, eyes widen, a slow smile spreads across his face causing his dimples to crease his cheeks. Standing up he sets Billie on her feet, Harry jumps off the porch and runs to the girl, picking her up and swinging her around as he hugs her, giving her kisses all over her face. Billie's jaw drops when she sees this, she looks at Louis only to see a huge grin on his face also, so he must know who this girl is too.
"I've missed you so much." Harry says as he sets his sister back on her feet. Grabbing Gemma's hand he pulls her to the porch, he reaches for Billie's hand and pulls her to him. "Gem, I want you to meet the love of my life, Billie Jo Morningstar, soon to be Styles. Billie, this is the best sister any guy could ever asks for, Gemma Ann Styles-Webber." Harry says.

"Oh wow, she's even more beautiful than mom said." Gemma gasps as she hugs the smaller girl. "It's so good to finally meet you."

Billie hugs Gemma back. "You too, Harry has told me so much about you."

"I've heard so much about you also." Gemma laughs as she sits down beside the couple, after giving Louis a hug. "So tomorrow is the big day. My baby brother is getting married."

"Yep." Harry smiles, hugging Billie to him, just as Tommy crashes into them.

"Hi, I'm Tommy." He smiles. "Who are you? Can we be friends? I like making friends." Tommy says as he wraps one arm around Harry's neck and leans closer to Gemma.

Gemma's eyes widen. "Oh my God, you are so cute." Gemma giggles as she plucks Tommy out from between Harry and Louis and sits him in her lap. "I'd love to be your friend." She says hugging him to her.

Tommy grins, turns to the side hugs Gemma back, then pulls away. "You smell good. What's your name?"

Harry, Billie, Danaka and Louis laugh. "I'm Gemma, Harry is my brother." Gemma laughs.

"Harry and Louis are my new best friends. Dana is my sister, she's getting married to Lou." Tommy leans forward and whispers to Gemma. "They kiss like Harry and Bill does."

Gemma throws her head back and laughs. "Oh you're so adorable. And congrats Lou and Dana. And you young man can show me around, you want to do that?" She asks.

"Sure." Tommy says jumping off Gemma's lap and grabbing her hand. "I'll introduce you to Poppy Alex and Bill's eight brothers, my brother and other friends. I know a lot of people." Tommy rambles as he pulls Gemma through the yard.

"Don't question it Dana." Harry whispers. "Gem had a baby a few years ago, he only lived a couple of hours, if he's had survived he would have been down syndrome also." Harry chokes out. "We were all devistated when he died, it's what caused the break down of her marriage. Her husband blamed her for their sons condition, she divorced him. Mom has been trying to get her to move here, open a law here."

"We could use one." Billie says. "Everyone has to leave the mountain to get a lawyer, that's why I was thinking about going into law myself." She says.

"A doctor and a lawyer in the same family, not bad." Louis says. "You'll be covering all the bases."

"Yep." Harry and Billie say at the same time.
