Chapter 34: A long few months

     "Ugh we've been walking forever! Are we there yet??" Whined Guy Diamond as Poppy and Branch led the way hand and hand. They quietly laughed as they got closer to the tree their little sprout was on.

     "There it is!!" Satin jumped excitedly. Before the couple could confirm her speech, the gang quickly made their way up the tree. The pink and teal trolls made their way up and when they got to the top, all they could see was the bright smiles on their faces.

     "Oh my goodness!!" Biggie squealed.

     "You two are gonna have the cutest little baby!!" Satin exclaimed again.

     "We are gonna make the cutest little outfits for this little cutie!!" Chenille chimed in.

     Cooper walked over to Branch as he gave him a noogie.

     "Way to go Branch, you got a kid on the way now. How does that feel?"

     "To be honest with you, I'm actually really excited.." He looked over at his wife as she smiled at him.

     "I can't wait to meet him or her."

     Poppy felt her heart flutter. But at the same moment, she felt her stomach twist into knots. She held the currently nauseated stomach and after a few minutes, she covered her mouth to prevent anything coming out.

     In horror, Branch watched his wife run to the edge of the tree and vomit on the other side. Suki, probably her closest friend other than Cooper, ran towards her side to try and comfort her.

     "Let it all out girl. It's alright."

     "I-Is Branch watching...?"

     "Do you want him to come over?"

     As the pink troll shook her head negative, she let out another round. The guys on the other side just watched Branch's face become more and more frightened of his wife's health.

     "W-What's wrong with her..? Will she be okay..??" He spoke softly.

     "Oh yeah. She'll be okay. You better get used to this Branch. This is what you're gonna deal with the next few months." Guy Diamond said, filing his nails.

     "She's always connected with that baby. Not literally, but she can feel every single thing that baby does. Atomically speaking, it would just be easier if the mother carried the baby." Biggie spoke, gently rubbing the teal troll's back.

     "She's gonna be super stressed for a while. You gotta make sure she still feels like a queen when you're with her.

     Branch had never really been around trolls that were expecting. In school they never really talked about what the side effects were. But if what the guys were saying was true,

     This was gonna be a long few months.
