That girl up there? It's just me. Natsuna. Natsuna what? No last name? I wish I knew what it was too. But here I am just being Natsuna... I don't know who my parents are or how they look basically. Or what my clan is as a matter of fact. God that's worse. I was born in the village hidden in the leaves. Or in Konoha, as people know it better that way.
I have red eyes, jade black hair in a ponytail with my bangs out that are wave-ish, my skin is fair too. Well, going back to the family thing, the third Hokage has been the only type of father figure I have. So I guess he counts as someone in my family. He's done a lot for me as a kid, I never asked him once to do anything for me actually. Well except just asking him to train me.
He didn't take it easy on me when it came to training. I remember when I was only 8 I couldn't move for almost a week because of all the training he put me through, causing me immense soreness and 2 bones breaking. But that somehow fueled me to train harder. Probably because I didn't want him breaking one more of my bones.
I learned many different earth techniques even if it almost cost me my life. But I'm glad I learned so much from him. Now I'm 12 years old in the ninja academy training now to be a Chunin. The academy hasn't been one of the greatest places for me to grow up at.
The only good memory I have of there is meeting Naruto Uzumaki. It was odd since almost nobody in the village really liked him, even our teachers didn't. After a little incident, we were inseparable. I felt like I actually had a sibling I can rely on.
"Hey, Natsuna!" Yelled Naruto outside my apartment. I poked my head out the window and looked at him. "Let's arm wrestle and see who's stronger!" I looked at him confused. "Why Naruto?" "Because I want to see if I can finally beat you!" "Uuuh..... Alright then. Just wait until I get down!" I shut my window and walked down the stairs. When I opened the door Naruto was in my face grinning.
"Ready?!" He said as he took a seat on the bench nearby. I sat across from him and put my elbow on the bench. "Ready." We both held each other's hands and gripped it as tightly as we could. I started to count "One....."
"THREE!!" he yelled quickly as he almost made my hand touch the side of the bench. "HEY!!!" I yelled back. I gripped his hand tighter and lifted him up in the air with my one arm and slammed his hand down on the ground. "YOU CHEA-... Naruto?" I said looking around because he was gone after the dust cleared up. I look at the ground and see him deep in the ground twitching in pain with eyes going in circles. "Oops... Sorry...." I said feeling bad for him. A little bit.
~later~
"I told you already Naruto. Hard work pays off." I said as I was giving him a piggyback ride to his house. "BUT YOUR JUST NATURALLY STRONG!!" He whined. "That's because I started at a young age. AND QUIT YELLING IN MY EAR OR I'LL CLOBBER YOU AGAIN!" He whined again but far away from my ear. I went up the stairs until I reached his door. I grabbed the keys with one hand from his pocket and opened the door and shut it using my foot.
Walking into his room I gently plopped him down on it and started to get him as comfy as possible. "You hungry Naruto?" I asked sitting him on the bed. He only nodded. I opened the cabinets and only found ramen. I went to the fridge and found more ramen. I then went to the rest of the cupboards.
Ramen, ramen, and more ramen. "Naruto you need some more nutrients if you want to stop being a shorty." He whined louder. "Not to mention that we are gonna get put on teams tomorrow too. You don't want to be the weak one do ya?" I said while leaning on the counters. He jumped to his feet. "NEVER! BECAUSE I WILL BE HOKAGE! BELIEVE IT!"
I chuckled a bit and gently rubbed my ear. This kid is gonna make me go deaf I swear. "How about you give me some money and I'll go get ingredients and we'll eat together?" "Okay!" He said without a second thought and gave me a few bills and coins. "I'll be back soon. Anything specific?" "RAMEN!!" "NO NARUTO!!"
~after dinner~
"Wow, Natsuna! You sure can cook!" He said as he took his last bite. "Glad you liked it!" I said as I threw away the disposable trays. "You should rest now. You'll need to heal up anyway." He nodded and quickly got in bed. "Hey, Natsuna?" He said while looking at me. "Hmm? What is it Naruto?" "Thanks." "For the food?" He shook his head.
"Thank you for being.... with..... me after all these.... years." He said as he was falling asleep. My lips curled into a smile and I turned off the lights and gently shut the door. I locked the main door and walked down the stairs with my hands in my skirt pockets. "Thank you too... Naruto."
