~Next Day~

I slowly started to open one eye, followed not too long along with my other one. This ceiling I was looking at was too familiar; I'm back in the damn hospital! I hear the door slide open and see a nurse walk in along with a doctor.

"Huh?!" They both said out loud, "y-your awake?!" The nurse said. "Uh...I think?" I said as I looked at my arms, only to see I have a giant hoodie on with a few blankets on me. "Why do I have so many layers on?" I said, looking at the doctor as he took my temperature.

"It's because you and Naruto had your body heats dangerously low. You both had severe hypothermia." He then checks my eyes as he flashed a light on them, which caused me to squint them. "One more hour out there, and you two would have frozen to death." He says as he writes some things down.

"Where's Naruto?" I said, "is he fine? Can I see him?" The nurse gently pushes me back down and sets up the food tray on my lap. "Yes, Naruto is fine; he's out of danger as well. Although he hasn't woken up yet." She says. She takes the lid off the bowl of hot stew and rice for me as she places a small cup of fruit at the edge of the tray. Lastly, she pours some tea in a cup for me and leaves the teacup on the bed table next to me.

"Eat it while it's hot," she says with a warm smile, "it's going to help you feel better." Both the doctor and the nurse leave as soon as I took a bite of the stew, and she was right. Once the hot stew went down my esophagus and into my stomach, I finally realized how much I was starving. I must have finished the whole meal in less than ten minutes; I even drank the remaining tea in the teacup!

I put the tray on the bed table and looked outside the window next to me; no matter how many times I look out a window, I feel like something calls to me.

I must be tired.

I rested my head on the pillow and looked away from the window, and just stared at the wall on the other side. I was still feeling a bit chilly, so I grabbed some of the blankets inside the drawer and put them over me as well; as soon as I felt a tiny bit more heat, I fell asleep comfortably.

~five hours later~

I woke up to some whispering in my room. I rubbed my eyes and sleepily looked at the direction from where the whispering was coming from. "Hinata?..." I said, rubbing my eyes again, "what...are you doing here?" I said, yawning a bit.

"I-im sorry for waking you!" She says as she bows before entering the room, "well...we heard what happened and wanted to check up on you." I raised an eyebrow, "we?" I said, confused. Hinata nodded and slid the door open, only to show the rest of my friends waiting behind her.

"Hi Natsuna, how are you feeling?" Ino said as she placed a bouquet in a vase. "Just tired," I said, "although Sakura and Sasuke managed to escape." I then feel Tenten put her hand on my head as she takes a seat next to me. "Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure they'll come back eventually." She said with a tiny smile. I feel like she was trying to convince herself as well as she was trying to convince me.

"But I fell for a stupid genjutsu! That's so embarrassing..." I whined as I flopped my back on the bed. "Accidents happen Natsuna, that's just how life works." Ino said, "you can't expect to be a shinobi and expect not to make at least a few mistakes; if that were the case, maybe we wouldn't have so many conflicts with other villages."

I then feel Hinata place a small bento box on my lap, "here, this has a lot of vitamins!" She says, "I hope you get better soon!" I look down at the box and take the lid off; my eyes sparkle as I see various meats, vegetables, fruit, and rice. "Thanks, guys!" As I grab the chopsticks, I said, "I feel much better than I did a few hours ago!"

~Later~

I drank the bitter tea lady Tsunade made for me. "Ugh..." I said as I took the last gulp, "are you sure this tea is supposed to warm me up faster than normal ones?" Lady Tsunade takes my cup and places a large bowl of vegetable soup on my bed stand. "I know what I'm doing," she says, "you should be lucky that your teammates found you as quick as they did. You wouldn't be here at all if it weren't for them."
