How You Remind Me

Chapter 22

Kristie sat there in a state of shock. This just simply blew her mind.

RJ & Becky??? Sure, Kristie knew that they had become friends & enjoyed hanging out together, but this was something that she didn't think was even possible.

Until now.

Despite the fear that Becky had, Kristie wasn't mad at her. She was more angry at RJ.

"How long have you & my brother been together, Bex?" asked Kristie. Becky gulped before answering.

"A few months. You're not mad at me. Are you, Kris?" asked Becky who was now shaking. Kristie's smile proved to be reassuring.

"I'm not mad at you, Bex. I'm mad at RJ. He should've told me," said Kristie. Becky breathed a sigh of relief on that, but she was still worried.

"Well, I wouldn't be too mad at him, Kris," said Becky. "Why?" asked Kristie. Becky let out a sigh.

"He was afraid that you wouldn't react well to this. That's why he preferred me to tell you instead of him," said Becky.

Kristie found herself understanding why, but she still wanted to talk to RJ. 

The problem was that she had no idea if he was in Tampa or was back in Las Vegas.

"Is my brother here, Bex?" asked Kristie. Becky nodded.

"He's here in the arena. Don't be too hard on him, Kris," said Becky. "I won't," said Kristie who then left to find RJ.

After about a few minutes, she found him chatting with Jason Jordan of American Alpha.

"Sorry to interrupt you guys, but, Jase, can I talk to my brother alone please?" asked Kristie. Jason simply nodded & walked away to get himself & his partner, Chad Gable, ready for their match against the Usos.

RJ knew right away that he was in trouble just from the look on his sister's face.

"I'm sorry, sis," he said. Kristie just nodded.

"How long have you & Becky been together, RJ? Be honest with me here," said Kristie. RJ just sighed.

"7 months. I know that I should've been the one to tell you about this, Kris, but Becky & I were both scared that you wouldn't react well to this," said RJ. Kristie again nodded.

"Does anyone else know about this?" asked Kristie. RJ nodded.

"Her family knows. My mom & our dad know. Jenna, however, doesn't know," said RJ. "Do you plan on telling her?" asked Kristie. RJ nodded.

"Well, do you want me to tell Jon about it?" asked Kristie. "Yeah I do. I mean, he's been like a brother to me for a long time," said RJ.

Kristie then hugged her brother, who began to relax after finally revealing his little secret.

"Well....you did find yourself a cool gal for a girlfriend, bro," said Kristie with a smile. RJ just laughed.

"I did, didn't I?" he said with a chuckle. She just smiled & nodded.

After all of that, it was time for Kristie & Alexa to finally sign the contract for their championship match at Extreme Rules.

As everything got underway, Kristie felt a bit nervous. After what had happened the last time with Nikki, she had every reason to be cautious.

As soon as she was in the ring, Daniel Bryan presented both women with the contract. Both eyed each other carefully.

"You first," said Alexa with a smirk. "Thank you," said Kristie who then signed her name on the dotted line. She then turned the leather binder containing the contract over to Alexa so she could sign it.

However, the interruption that both women didn't want happened again.

Only this time it wasn't Nikki Bella who was trying to stop it. It was her arch enemy, Natalya.

Decked out in her trademark black leather ring gear with touches of pink, she marched over to the ring with the intention of stopping the contract signing.

However, both Kristie & Alexa were ready. Daniel Bryan nodded at both of them.

Both bounced off the ropes & flew at Natalya, who was unprepared for what was next.

Kristie then landed a solid right hook at her face & screamed at her, "NO, YOU DON'T, BITCH!!"

She then looked at Alexa, who had run right back into the ring. Daniel quickly handed her the contract where she put her signature right below Kristie's & raised it up to show that it had been signed, much to Natalya's horror.

It was now official. Kristie V vs Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown women's title was going to happen at Extreme Rules, & no one was going to stop them from having the awesome match that both knew they were going to have.

It was going to be fun.
