How You Remind Me

Chapter 6

This chapter was inspired by the Shield coming together again at tonight's Survivor Series. ;)

5 days after Smackdown Live happened in Salt Lake City, Dean & Kristie were back at home in Las Vegas taking care of some stuff before driving off to Seattle for both a house show & another Smackdown Live when Dean's phone rang.

"Who is it, Jon?" asked Kristie. "It's Joe," said Dean referring to his friend Roman Reigns. He then went into a spare room to take the call.

Kristie was curious but knew better then to eavesdrop on Dean while he was talking to either Roman or Seth Rollins so she didn't do it.

She knew that ever since the last Survivor Series where the three came back as the Shield & triple power bombed AJ Styles through an announce table, she suspected that the three guys were planning something special. She didn't ask Dean any questions about it because she figured that he would want to keep it a secret.

Still, she wanted to know. She knew that Dean trusted her.

After about 15 minutes, Dean was back with a smile on his face. Kristie wondered why.

"What's got you so happy?" she asked with a smile. "Guess," he said with a mischievous smile.

Kristie had a few ideas, but only one popped into her mind.

"The Shield are getting back together?" she asked. Dean just laughed.

"You know me too well, babe," he said as he took her in his arms & kissed her.

"It's true. Colby, Joe, & I are going to team up for SD Live in Seattle," said Dean. He then explained why.

As it turned out, Nikki Bella wasn't the only person trash talking on Talking Smack. AJ Styles had happened to be getting interviewed on the same episode of the show & had gone off on Dean, Seth, & Roman power bombing him at Survivor Series. He still hadn't gotten over what had happened that night in Toronto.

"Those three bastards are going to pay for what they did to me," AJ had said. That was when Dean had gotten in contact with Seth & Roman & began putting together an idea to not only blow AJ's mind & make his life even more miserable, but to blow the fans' minds as well.

Like Dean, Kristie had been well aware that fans of the Shield had been wanting all three guys to reunite ever since 2014 when it had all ended, & Survivor Series had shown fans a glimpse of what was possible.

Now Dean, along with Seth & Roman, were going to get back together even for one night only.

"Well, I hope this works," said Kristie. "It will. We'll make sure of it," said Dean who then kissed her again.

Then more news came.

While watching  Dr. Strange on demand, Kristie's phone rang. When she saw Jenna's name on her caller ID, she quickly got up & went into another room to take the call.

As it turns out, Jenna had gotten more news concerning the whole Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

It was something that would get Kristie very excited.
