Chapter2: Agnes' Creation

          Hope, the light dragon, was in Fycilia, the realm of the Overseer. He had felt dark energy growing and had a plan to keep the balance, however he had not enough power to carry out his plan. He went to seek help from the Overseer. Hope came to a grove full of beautiful flowers of every imaginable color. The Overseer stood in the center. "Why have you come to me, dragon of light?" the Overseer asked. 

          "Darkness is growing in strength. I have a plan to keep the balance, but I do not possess sufficient power to carry out this plan. I have come to ask strength of you." Hope said.

          "What is your plan?" the Overseer asked.

          "I wish to create a being, free of the sinful blood of man. She will be the sword of the light and defeat the rising darkness." Hope replied.

          "No." the Overseer said, "Your light is too bright. It has blinded you. A being such as this would most certainly upset the balance."

          Hope replied, "The dark is already upsetting the balance! My angel will restore it!"

          "Very well, I will grant you this. May suffering be your teacher."

          In this way, Agnes was brought into existence. Having not Adam's sinful blood in her veins. She was the embodiment of light, and her beauty surpassed that of all other women. She was brave, considerate, and loving to all. No one she met disliked her. Eventually, a horrible plague struck in Criethia. It killed all the royal family. The people needed a leader, and they looked to Agnes. They crowned her queen of Criethia, and under her rule, Criethua experienced an age of prosperity and peace.

          This is the secret of Agnes' rise to the throne of Criethia.
