In the world you know, The Council of Thirteen obtained the Sacred Onyx and reawaked Doom, the dark dragon. This was not the way things were meant to be. Originally, the Council of Thirteen was the Council of Twelve. Zoro did not exist. Zoro's power and knowledge was far greater than any of the other council members, and he is the reason they succeeded in reawakening Doom. This is a small part of the tale of that peaceful time without Zoro.
The council of twelve had just sent out a party to search for the map to the Sacred Onyx. A Criethian spy sent word to Silvermount Castle, the capitol of Crithia. Skylar, the commander of the garrison at Silvermount, received this information. He ordered that the troops prepare to storm the Council of Twelve's castle. Skylar set out with three thousand cavalrymen and twenty-five hundred infantry. They arrived at the enemy castle in one weeks time. They laid siege to the castle for three days. At the end of this time the Council of Twelve surrendered. All the council members were executed, and the soldiers were sentenced to life in prison.
After this easy victory, Criethia was completely peaceful for the rest of Agnes and Skylar's rule. Their son Koren was much like his father. He was a natural with the blade, and he had his mother's magic. His hair was gold and his eyes were sky blue. Seventeen years later, they had a second child. Her name was Skyla. She was towheaded and her eyes shine a brilliant green. Like Koren, she was skilled with a sword and had Agnes' magic.
This is the secret of the world without Zoro.
