Tom hated it.
He hated, that Kate didn't want to meet him. He hated the girls, when they asked about how he felt and if he's okay or not.
He also hated the moments in which he missed Kate. And those moments weren't just a few. If he could count them, he would.
But let's say that he missed her almost every time he sees his Spider-Man keychain, and that happened quite a lot. You may ask yourself now why he missed her almost every time he sees it, right? Well, Tom liked Spider-Man since he was a small kid, and once before his last exam at high school, he was so nervous that she got him that keychain, because she knew that would calm him a little bit down.
Now, two years after their breakup and three years after the thing with the keychain happened, he still couldn't get over their breakup. First of all, he wanted to forget her, he really did, but it wasn't easy to do so. And that's why he can't throw the chain away, like Harrison suggested him to do.
Once Lizzie told him that maybe he shouldn't try to forget her, when she wasn't friends with Kate. So did Scarlett, so Tom didn't try to. Suddenly he did forget her, when he filmed Civil War. Now Katy was back and the memories with her were, too.
The only things he wanted now were to know why she texted him that it was his fault that the broke up, not hers. And about which letter she talked, because he didn't get one, neither did Harrison, Harry, Sam or Paddy.
Sadly, Kate always blocked him. But today, she wouldn't be able to block him.
Tom stood in front of your apartment door, almost as nervous as then two years ago on that day he wrote the exam. He took a deep breath and knocked.
"Kate, open the damn door," came from a familiar voice through the door. It was Elizabeth.
"Shut up, Lizzie! Kate is on her way!" It was Zendaya? How weird, Tom thought.
And then, the door opened and a confused Kate stood there, looking at Tom.
"And, Kate? Who is it?" This time it sounded like Chloe and Tom asked himself why the Marvel-ladies were at Kate's. "No one important," Kate screamed back to the inside. Then she came outside, closing the door quietly.
"What the hell re you doing here, Tom? I believe that you understood everything i texted you, so why are you here?!"
"Kate, give me a last chance. Give me the meeting we both deserve and i promise that I won't bother you again." "No, Tom. Like I said, I gave you that letter. You didn't response, so it is your fault, believe it or not. And now excuse me, the girls are waiting."
"Kate Wellery! Faster, you turtle! Crazy, Stupid, Love won't wait for you," a voice similar to Olive's shouted.
That made Kate wanting to go back inside, but Tom grabbed her arm before she could go back.
"Tom -" Katelyn couldn't finish the sentence because Tom pulled her into a kiss. In the first moment, she was shocked, then she pushed him away. The butterflies in her belly, which she thought wouldn't exist anymore, came back.
"Kate, you can't do this to me! I need you, please...!"
"Maybe shou shouldn't have come here, Tom. Have a good life."
And then she opened the door and went inside, while leaving an upset Tom outside. This was the point where he ripped that keychain off and threw it in the garbage next to Kate's door. Before he left, he heard the girls laughing inside. At least Kate's happy, he thought.
