Tom was nervous. Really nervous. Kate finally gave him a chance, and he wanted to clear everything with the girl. So he sat in Chris Evans's car, on the way to the coffee place Kate had told him on Twitter. Maybe nervous wasn't even the right word to describe him. A mix of fear and excitement went through his body.
But then, his phone rang. The number on the display was Harrison's and not a random one, so he took the call. "Hey, Harry, what's going on?" Tom asked the other boy. Tom heard a sniffle through the speaker, which made him terrified. "Tess..." Tom widened his eyes. "What about her? Harrison?"
Tom's voice was filled with emotions. Fear, because of Tess. Nervousness, because he didn't know what happened. And a little bit anger, because he wanted to know what happened.
"Harrison, answer me!"
"Tom, something is wrong with her! She didn't even eat her lunch and she is making weird noises. What should I do? Z said, that I should bring her to the vet's but I don't know. What should I do?"
Shit.
Tom didn't know what to do. Meet Kate or help Tess? He didn't know the answer. He asked himself what Kate would do. She would help Tess, because Tess was her little sunshine back then. "Harry, I'm coming. Where are you now?" "At your apartment, in the living room. Tess is laying on the couch..."
"I'm on my way. See you!"
"Hey, Chris?"
"Yes, buddy?"
"Can you drive me home? Something is wrong with Tess and i ave to bring her to the vet!"
"Shit... What about Kate?" "I'm gonna tell Scarlett when Tess's situation is stable. Could you drop me off at Trafalgar Square?" "Sure, buddy!"
