"Ok Emily your first" says Kate
Emily does her routine and it's good but it's really just showcasing her. Everyone's pointing at her and they all do flips around her.
It's good but I think we have a better chance.
"Great job Emily, Michelle your up" says Kate
"You know what to do" Emily whispers to me
I nod my head but I'm not going to do that. It's wrong and Michelle would make a great dance captain.
The music starts and we perform it great!! Better then we have so far. We end in the dip and James does a extra flip to make it perfect. Eldon lifts me back up and we stare at eachother for a minute and then I snap out of it.
"Wow, that was awesome" says Kate
"Why didn't y-" says Emily before I cut her off
"Because it's wrong and Michelle would make a great dance captain" I say madly
"If your so worried about Michelle beating you then you should've made your routine better. And not just showcasing you" I say walking away
"Whatever, making you a E-girl was a stupid move anyway" says Emily
"Your a terrible dancer and just stay out of my way" says Emily
A feel a jab of pain in my stomach. I didn't know she could be that mean.
A tear escapes my eye and I run over to Eldon.
"Hey, what's the matter" asks Eldon
"Emily" I say another tear escaping
"She said I'm a bad dancer and that making me a E-girl was the stupidest thing she ever did" I say sadly
"Just ignore her you amazing" says Eldon putting his arm around me
I smile and he smiles back.
"Ok everyone gather around" says Chris
"We've made our decision for dance captain" says Chris
"The new dance captain is Emily" says Kate
"Why?" I ask
"No offence but her routine was just showcasing her" I say angrily
"Well they liked ours better anyway" says Emily
"No Emily, Michelle's routine was better but we think she has to earn her place as dance captain" says Chris
"whatever I'm dance captain" says Emily
"Ok now that that's over, Chris and I wanted to tell you that we've signed you up for a competition this weekend and we will need a new routine" says Kate
"And you'll have one" says Emily stepping forward
"Thanks Emily" says Chris
"Get started, oh and you'll audition for your line placements" says Kate
"Chris and I will be watching to make sure it's fair" says Kate
"No, that won't be needed I've got it under control" says Emily
"Ok, but when your done we want to see it" says Chris
Emily agrees and everyone gets in a group to audition for our lines
"It will be Stephanie, James, West, Tiffany, Riley, Chloe, Eldon, Michelle, and Ashley in that order" she says glaring at me.
Stephanie goes up and she dances alright but not great. I think she'll be in back row.
James and West go up and they dance great. I think West should be middle and James middle. Tiffany dances great!!!!! She should be in the middle centre.
It's Riley's turn and she does a cartwheel but slips and lands on her bottom. She's a great dancer but I think she'll be in the back.
Chloe goes up and dances middle row material.
Then Eldon goes up, he dances flawless, he's such a great dancer it's unreal. He just is so nice and such a good dancer. If he's not in the front I'll be stunned.
Michelle goes up and dances the best out of everyone she does lots of aerials and jumps.
It's my turn and I do a front aerial to get in the middle. I do so turns and some jumps and some acro. I think I did really good and the best out of everyone.
I finish and everyone cheers. (No one else got a cheer)
I walk over to Eldon and tell him how good he was.
"You were amazing" I say nicely
"I was amazing what about you? You did flawless" he says sweetly
I thank him and Emily walks into Kate and Chris's office.
*Emily's POV*
"Hey Kate um I just wanted to say that there's a light right there that's just done." I say smirking
"Oh well that's dangerous" says Kate
"Ya safety is 100 and 10 percent important" says Stephanie
"Oh, I've never seen you guys so worried about safely" says Kate
"Oh we always are" I say looking at Stephanie
