I wish for you to be happy.

But overall, I just want you to be happy. Cause I know asking for the first one is pushing it.
I wish I was happy too.
Happy with you? Yeah, definitely,
But overall, just happy.
There hasn't been much lately that does.
But you were that first breath of fresh air after living underground in the dark for so long. Meeting and talking to you was something I never knew I needed until it happened that fateful day.
Spending time with you felt good.
Actually, it felt better than that. It felt refreshing, new and old, and calming and exciting and so much more all in one.
And that's why I wish I had a chance with you.
But I only like to wish for things that I know have a chance.
So I'll simply wish for you to be happy for as long as you possibly can. Cause at least there's a bigger chance of that happening.
