Lost and Found

 It was the fall of Corey and Tanner's junior year. Corey missed Tanner. He was on the field getting ready when he saw someone who looked familiar with someone.

"Who do you see" Dillon said

"Nothing" Corey said

"Hi Corey" someone said

Corey looked around and saw it was Tanner. He pulled Tanner into a hugged. He noticed how skinny, dirty, and battered he was.

"Tanner is that you" Corey asked shocked

Tanner nodded. Corey smiled and continued to hold him. He felt his ribs sticking out. He looked like he lost a ton of weight. His hair was falling out. Tanner looked up at Corey and cried. Corey held him close and sighed

"So I wasn't dreaming when I saw you freshman year" he said softly

"Corey it's ok i'm getting out of there tonight" Tanner said

"Really" Corey said as Tanner nodded

Corey smiled. Tanner gave him a quick kiss and smiled.

"Tanner come on" Alex yelled

Tanner let go of Corey and smiled. Corey went over to his teammates and smiled knowing he was getting his boyfriend back. After the game Corey and Tanner were going to meet up to hang out when Corey heard yelling.

"Dad it wasn't my fault we lost" Tanner said before being slapped

"Tanner it was because all you could do is picture your boyfriend now you'll have to pay when we get home" his dad said before dragging Tanner away

Corey hid and pictured that was who took Tanner away from him all these years. His dad. Corey got home and sighed. He sat down on the couch and put his hands to his eyes and cried.

"Cor what's up baby" his mom asked

"I saw him, mom I saw Tanner. All these years you think i was nuts. I saw him" Corey said in tears

"Who sweetie" Corey's mom asked before the doorbell rang

Corey got up and answered. He looked at the person and saw it was Tanner. Tanner moaned in pain and fell. Corey grabbed him before he could hit the floor.

"Mom help" Corey screamed before picking Tanner up

"What's up Cor, oh my god" she said seeing Tanner

Corey carried Tanner and set him carefully on the couch. His mom pulled him aside and looked at him.

'So you weren't joking. Corey i'm gonna run to work pick up some stuff, and i'll be back I don't want him going anywhere. Even the hospital" she said before leaving

Corey went to the couch and saw his boyfriend sleeping peacefully. He took the collar off and looked shocked. Tanner stirred under the touch. Corey sat down next to him and sent a quick text to Tanner's mom.

Hey we have him. Him being Tanner, hes safe with us.My mom is taking care of him. She doesn't want him to go to the hospital. You can come see him if you want.

"Corey" Tanner moaned in his sleep

"Yeah T" he said softly

"Thanks" Tanner said softly

Corey smiled and saw his mom with all the stuff she need. Corey's mom hooked Tanner up to all the medication he needs. Tanner looked at Corey and smiled. He took a deep breath and started coughing badly. Corey took his hand as his mom hooked him up to oxygen. Corey let go of Tanner's hand and answered the door. He saw Tanner's mom and smiled

"Where is he" she asked

Corey pointed to the couch where he was sleeping. The two went over there and sat near him.

"Hes stable" Corey's mom said

Corey looked out the window and saw the press and looked shocked

"What the hell" Corey squeaked

"Ok, don't panic yet son. I called the cops to tell them he was found. I didn't think this would happen" Corey's mom said

"Well what do we do I know they want answers" Corey yelled

"You go talk to them" she yelled

Corey moaned and went outside

"Hi i'm Corey Brooks I'll be speaking on the family's behalf. Like I said three years ago I'm Tanner's boyfriend Let me tell you that Tanner is in stable condition inside. He is very weak and battered. He was treated badly he had to wear a collar for the duration of his capture" Corey said

"Corey how did you find Tanner" a reporter asked

"I found Tanner because he found me on the football field at the local high school game. I was relieved but I was scared." Corey said

"What type of injuries does he have" another reporter said

"Like I said we don't know. He has broken ribs most likely. He is very malnourished. He has marks from the collar that were left. He has rope burns. Ill ask my mom and let you guys know" Corey said

"What's next for you guys" another reporter asked

"What's next is trying to find out who did this to him. Even though I heard something that could lead to a suspect, but i'm not jumping to any conclusions. Tanner is to scared and probably will want to wait awhile to talk and we understand. Three years is a long time. He will healed both physically and mentally and me my mom and his mom and his family will all be there for him. So next update will be when we get a general idea of who took him all these years" Corey said

Corey went back inside and saw Tanner awake. Tanner smiled at Corey. Corey sat down next to him. Tanner leaned on him.

"Mom what's the update" Corey asked

"Still sore" Tanner said

"Of course you are" Corey said while patting his head as Tanner pouted "Now mom"

"Improved, he will be on a liquid only diet for awhile or until his stomach can handle real food. He'll be on a butt load of antibiotics " she said

"Mrs Brooks I had another prescription from another doctor. She gave me something because her son saw me in pain and i went and saw her" Tanner said

"What's the name of the doctor"

"Linda Erickson"

"She's one of my co workers i'll get in touch with her"

Tanner smiled s Corey kissed him. Corey smiled knowing his boyfriend
