The next day before class , Tanner was with Shawna and Alex in the choir room getting ready for Tanners audition

"What song" Alex asked

"I don't know" Shawna said

"Blank space" Tanner said

Alex and Shawna smiled. The glee club as at lunch getting ready. Tanner looked around nervous

"Tanner it's alright" Alex said

"Yeah give the whole school another reason to hate me" he said

"Tanner it's alright look at Alex. He dances does football, basketball and track, and that doesn't stop him" Shawna said

Tanner smiled. Corey was looking Shawna ,Alex and Tanner. He looked and heard someone singing and saw it was Tanner. After they finished everyone started to have a food fight with each other. Alex, Shawna, Corey, and Tanner ran into the choir room. Tanner in the process of running slipped. Alex also tripped but he was in the choir room Corey helped him up.

"Well mister, I didn't think you could sing" Corey said as Tanner blushed.

Tanner smiled and kissed him. The four went home and got changed. The four went to the college After that they go to practice. Alex, Tanner, Corey get ready in the locker room.

"Ill pick you up for dance" Alex said to Tanner

"Great, wait" Tanner said

Alex looked at him and grabbed his helmet. Tanner looked at Corey confused. Corey grabbed their helmets. Tanner,Alex, and Corey led the team in warm ups. The coach smiled at them. After practice Corey took Alex home. Tanner was in the kitchen smiling and getting food ready for dance. Tina looked at her son.

"What:" Tanner said smiling

"Tanner after everything that has happened to you, i'm just so proud of you" she said

"Why" Tanner said

"Because you're doing something I never thought i'd see you doing.

Tanner smiled and finished grabbing his stuff. Before he could say something to his mom He heard a horn meaning Alex was here to pick him up.

"That's my cue to leave love you mom" Tanner said before kissing his mom

Tina watched her son and smiled. Tanner got outside and saw Alex with a new car.

"Car fixed" Tanner said

"No new my parents surprised me when I got home. The old one was to totaled to fix" Alex said

Tanner and Alex were heading to dance screaming off the top of their lungs. Theyre going to meet up with Shawna. They get there and see Shawna was with another guy. They look at him and see its a football player from another. Shawna and Alex took Tanner to get the shoes and stuff he needed for dance. Tanner smiled as the other football player came and met up with them.

"Hey Tanner, Hey Alex" he said

"Shawna, who is this guy" Alex asked

'"Wow Alex I can't believe you don't remember me" the guy said

Tanner giggled at the fact Alex didn't know. The four went to class

"Guys this is Drew. He's the punter for are old high school" Shawna said

Alex slapped himself as Tanner went to class. The four went to class laughing. Alex looked like a tomato.

"What" Tanner said

"I just can't believe i didn't recognize are old punter" Alex said

"Ok let's go over the dance, Tanner sit and watch" the teacher said

Tanner saw a guy he knew. After they did ballroom, Tanner and Alex went to tap while Shawna and Drew went to teach. The four met up afterwards and ate.

"So what do you think T" Alex asked

"Honestly this is fun" he said

Alex and Drew smiled.

" Hey Alex, Shawna we need you guys for hip hop rehearsal" a girl named Meghan asked

Alex and Shawna stopped eating and quickly put on their shoes and went to practice. Tanner was eating and looking down. Drew looked at Tanner and set his food down.

"Tanner whats up" Drew asked

"Just thinking" Tanner said as he ate

"About what" Drew asked as he ate

"Life after high school, college with my past no one will hire me , or anything" Tanner said

Drew choked and drank some water and looked shocked. Tanner gave him a confused look.

"Tanner, I was your neighbor when your dad held you hostage and kidnapped you" Drew said

Tanner did the same thing as Drew just did and looked at Drew shocked.

"How did you know" Tanner said softly

"Well, every time I'd want to go help. My dad would abuse me. That's when, when your dad was arrested. My dad was arrested the next day. The day he got arrested was the worse in my abuse. That's why i wasn't on the field at the game that whole week. " Drew said

Alex and Shawna came back and took their shoes off and finished eating. Drew and Tanner exchanged a look and finished to. The four headed to lyrical. Tanner set his stuff down and sighed. Drew Shawna and Alex watched as Tanner moved to the music. Alex videotaped Tanner and sent it to Tanners mom. After class the four went and got ice cream.

"Ready for this every night" Drew asked as he ate

Tanner smiled and ate. When Tanner got home he saw his mom sitting on the couch with her phone watching the video. Tanner smiled and sat next to her.

"So how was it" she asked

"Loved it mom, and I know two people besides Shawna" he said leaning againest her

"I'm glad you do sweetie, you were really good in the video" she said

Tanner watched himself and smiled. Tina left Tanner on the couch. He smiled and stole his moms phone to forward the video to Corey. Tanner went to his room and looked at his phone.
