Arnold soon entered a different place. The white void expanded and engulfed the entire blackness. All the darkness had been replaced by white. It shone into his eyes, blinding him, making him nauseous. He prefered the dark world, at least it didn't give him a headache. He felt his head exploding, he wanted to lay and rest, but there seemed to be an odd perception of ground as well, he just couldn't lay down no matter how he moved, he would remain upright. He closed his eyes.

Struggling through the discomfort and fogginess, Arnold opened his eyes. He looked further in the distance and saw a strange figure in it, like a man almost.

He smiled and waved to the figure but it didn't acknowledge him. He moved to it, he was curious. It slowly got closer. Eventually, he reached the figure. It looked no more than a shadow, or a silhouette. It was his height. Arnold reached out to touch it, his hand no more than inches away from the figure. As his hand approached the figure, the figure opened what appeared to be its mouth. It felt so out of place, being completely white. Just like the silhouette seemed so out of place in the void.

He was about to touch it, but a loud shriek broke the utter silence around him. It pierced his ears and he quickly drew his arm back alarmed, looking around but finding nothing. Looking back at the figure, he found its mouth was closed again. He looked behind it, he found what looked like a black door with the word "Exit" written over it. Peculiar he thought of it. Arnold was more curious of the man however, and ignored the exit sign, touching the figure, but just then, the figure emitted that very same shriek, and Arnold lost his vision. He woke up, in yet another setting.
