Chapter 2
"Are you packed?" Jason yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I didn't bother replying and put the last of my clothes into my wardrobe.
Apparently Jason loved the idea of a boarding school; it doesn't look half bad if I'm being honest. I tied my long, dark red hair back into a high pony tail and grabbed my bags. After we had all our bags in Jason's car he left the keys on the table. Someone else would live there and it felt so weird the fact that it wasn't my home anymore.
For holidays we were going to be staying at my aunts but other than that we would be staying most of the time in school grounds. I texted my friends during the car ride until I fell asleep.
Jason nudged me lightly to tell me we had arrived at the school. I grabbed my bags and said goodbye to Jason as he walked over to the boys dorms and I found my way to the girls.
Room 0018, room 0019 and room 0020! I got out my key and unlocked the door. There was a brunette in the room unpacking.
"You must be my new roomie!" She squealed running over to me embracing me in a hug, "I'm Eleanor."
"I'm Christina." I smiled at her warmly.
"Well Christina, before you ask the head master already told me I couldn't paint the walls." She sighed plopping down on a bed.
I chuckled lightly putting down my bags and begun to unpack. I put all my clothes into my wardrobe and it was a bit cramped (I used to have a walk in wardrobe) but it will do.
"Could you fit anymore clothes?" Eleanor giggled pointing to my wardrobe that you couldn't even see the back.
Eleanor must have found a picture of my parents because she asked me who they were.
"They were my parents." I sighed. Eleanor tilted her head to one side noticing the past the past tense, "They were killed over a month ago."
I could feel my eyes threatening tears, great I'm going to cry on my first day here... I felt Eleanor's bony arms wrap around me as comfort.
"I'm sorry." She whispered.
"It's ok, you didn't know."
"Well I have something that will cheer you up!" She said jumping up, how much energy can one person have?
"What?"
"Shopping!" She half yelled grabbing my wrist and running towards her car both us us laughing at her childish behaviour.
