The Private Chat

*5 minuets later. Izzy's point of view*

Polly was outside waiting for us when we arrived.

"Izzy." She said whilst giving me a hug

"Luke wants a private chat with you." She told me. I looked at Niall and back to Polly.

"Okay, where is he?" I asked

"In his room. I'll help Niall bring the bags in." She said

I mouthed Thank you and she responded with a smile. I took a deep breath and went in. Not once did I look back.

I was stood outside Luke's room. I just stood there, staring at his door. I finally had the guts to knock on the door. In 10 seconds, Luke opened the door. We just stared at each other.

"Come on in." He said. I walked in and closed the door behind me.

"Luke, I'm sorry" I said to break the silence.

"Let me explain..." He cut me off

"No need to, Polly already told me. I thought there was something odd with Niall but I never made the connection. If I had known, I would never have kissed you and asked you out."

I didn't know how to respond.

"Izzy, I hope we can be friends after this. I treasure my friendships with all the boys and would never put the friendships on the line."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm breaking up with you. Not cause you and Niall kissed but, because you have been waiting a long time to be with him. I don't want to be the one standing in your way." I walked over to him.

"Oh Luke," I hugged him "I'm sorry. I did have feelings for you but not like the ones I had for Niall."

We broke the hug and Luke whipped some tears away. I felt do bad. I started to walk out.

"Izzy?" I stopped and turned around.

"Yeah Luke?"

"Can we still be friends?"

"Of course we can."

He smiled and I smiled back.

"Thank you Luke"

"No problem" I left. I felt quite bad but it was his decision. I walked down the hall to Polly's room to tell her.
