The letter had been sitting on my dash board whilst I drove home. When I reached home, I grabbed the letter and opened it.
Dear Niall,
The main reason I am writing this letter is mainly for when you're on tour and missing me :) But feel free to read it when ever. You left me some instructions which I followed. However, I'm going to leave you some instructions for all the days, weeks and months that we are not together for what ever reason.
1. Be happy, I can't stand it when you're sad.
2. Have fun because being bored is boring.
3. Be safe, you never know what could happen.
4. Never change for anyone, just be yourself.
5. The most important instruction! No matter what, I will always love you. I'm sorry if I don't say it everyday. If there ever comes a day when neither one of us can tell the other one, just remember my instruction number 5 and I'll remember your instruction number 4.
Louis, Liam, Zayn and Harry are always going to be 4 of the biggest blessings in your life and never forget that. Like I won't forget 2 of my biggest blessings. Polly and you. If I had the chance to change one day, I wouldn't because I don't want to know the effect of it not happening which could have involved you. I waited so long to be with you and, it was worth the wait. If something ever happened between us, find another girl and show her off to me. It will make me jealous. But if death comes, don't wait. I'd set you free into the world where you will find someone who will love you the way I loved you. I would always watch over you. But let's not think about that. Just remember my instructions and I'll never leave you.
