chapter 5; COLD

Chapter 5

Megan's P.O.V

Just then.

Everything stopped.

The music at stopped playing.

The head lights went off.

And we were all alone in the dark.

Vanessa was the first one to scream.

We all turned and looked at her, while holding back laughs.

"What?" she said laughing a little.

"Why'd you scream?" I said letting a laugh escape my lips.

"I got scared." she mumbled looking down an expression of fake hurt on her face.

I laugh and walk over to her throwing my arms around her.

"Well keep you safe!" I said while the other girls ran in for a group hug.

"Now I wonder what wrong with the car." Maggie said, as she and Kennedy walked over and opened the hood, Steam went everywheres.

" I'm guessing thats not good." I said pointing to the steam that was pouring all over the car.

"Um, haha no." Kennedy said and turned back to the car.

"It over-heated, and were out of gas. Since we were listening to music, but the car wasn't running." she finished, shutting the hood again.

We all let out little grumbles and walked over to the car.

"What can we do now?" Vanessa asked leaning against the hood.

"We don't know when the boys will get here."

Louis POV

Niall came back in to the room, with a expression on his face that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I was about to say something when he spoke.

"Boys, we don't have anything else planned for tonight .. Do we?" he said taking a seat beside Liam.

We a shared a look, but Harry's the one who spoke.

"Nope! Were free, why what did you have in mind ?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Niall rolled his eyes at him then turned to me.

"Remember that girl, Megan that we met at the amusement park earlier today?" he said

I thought back from earlier today .. Hmmm... Then I remembered.

"Yes!" I cried jumping from my seat, but throwing Harry off the couch, since he had been sitting in my lap.

Niall looked at me like I had two heads but replied.

"Yeah her and her friends got lost and called me asking for directions but I told the-" I was cut off by Harry asking

"How'd she get your phone number mate?" while giving me a cheeky smile and a wink.

I could feel my checks getting warm

"I, I gave it to her." I stuttered dropping my head.

"Oh that's okay!" Louis said patting my shoulder. I gave him a small smile before continuing on.

"Like I was saying, her and her friends got lost, since they're not from around here." I paused to take a breath and I saw Harry's mouth open slightly like he was going to say something.

I just put my hand up, indicating for him to wait until I was finished.

"So I said we'd go and get them, bring them back. 'Cause its dark and all, plus it wouldn't be safe for them I be out all alone in the night." he finished looking up at us to see our opinion.

Everybody have their nods of agreement so we all piled into our car and in the rain, and drove our way to the girls.

Megan's P.O.V

By now we had all gotten back into the car, even though it wasn't very warm. We all huddled together in the backseat with the couple extra blankets we kept in the trunk and all had every piece of clothing we owned on. In London it was pretty warm during the day, but it got REALLY cold at night.

"G-Gosh, it's s-so c-cold" I said my teeth chattering together.

"I k-know." Kennedy answered giving me a hopeful smile.

"W-where are the the boys?" Vanessa asked snuggling in closer to us.

We all just shook our heads, maybe they weren't coming..what if they didn't? We'd FREEZE out here during the night. What if they're here and cant see us, because it's too dark.. I started freaking out, rambling on and on to the girls.

We were too busy comforting each other and keeping everyone's toes on that we didn't hear the silent pitter-patter of rain falling down on the cars roof.

"Wait! Guys, listen." Maggie said holding up a finger for us to be quiet.

"What's that?" Kennedy asked, turning so she could look out the window.

"It's, it's rain." She said turning back to look at us.

"Great! Now we're never getting out of here!" I cried throwing my head back.

"Don't think like that!" Vanessa scolded while playfully slapping my shoulder.

I was just about to give another complaint when I heard a loud crack!

"What was that?!" Kennedy and I cried grabbing on to the person we were sitting beside.

We looked all around the inside of the car, trying to figure out what had made that noise.

Then I saw it.

Up, in the roof of the car, was a crack. Not just a little one, but the biggest crack I've ever seen on a car.

We had to get out of there.

I quickly told all the girls what I had discovered and we all hurried out of the car, and just as the last one made it out, the car roof came crashing down, right where we would've been.

All the girls turned and looked at me.

I just broke down in tears.

Then I realized another thing.

It was raining.

It was dark and cold.

And we were lost.

A/N the chapters are short, but I have like 69 to upload... Anyways hope you guys are enjoying This fan fiction.. They haven't met one direction yet? Anoyyying. I know.
