Never better

I got in the car and drove across town my phone was blowing up from Krissy and Bryan, I turned on to the street before mikes and parked the car in front of some random house. I stuck the gun in the back of my pants and pulled down my t-shirt. I hopped out of the car and made my way down the street but before I could hit the corner some car sped in front of me and came to a instant stop.
"Damn it!" I said to myself and tried to jog to the targeted house but Bryan ran up behind me and grabbed me. "Put me the fuck down now!!" He was silent and I could tell he was pissed. I tried to wiggle out of his arms but his grip was killer. He threw me in the back of his cruiser like some criminal. " you can't put me back here I didn't do anything" I yelled "but you almost did!" His eyes pierced my soul and I sat back. He held his hand out and I knew exactly what he wanted so I handed over the gun. He slammed the door with excessive force. He got in the front and wrapped the gun in his jacket. He was taking me back to his house and the ride was extremely silent and long.
We pulled up to the house and he opened the cruisers door. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder like a rag doll, once inside he threw me on the couch. "Can you not threw me around like that you inconsiderate asshol-" i was immediately cut off. He grited his teeth and point at me "shut the hell up alexia!! Do you ever just the fuck up! I can not believe that you would ever in your right mind get the nerve to go to mikes and shoot him! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! MAYBE ITS ALL THAT DYE AND CHEMICALS THATS KILLING YOUR BRAIN CELLS!! Do you know that I had to leave my job and not some night time in the alley giving up your ass type of job or the swinging on a pole in the club showing every man and they grandfathers your breasts type of job. MY ACTUALLY CAREER ALEXIA to come and get you and stop you from finding your way into a jail cell for the rest of you life!!!" He stated. A tear slipped from the corner of my eye, I was shook he has never talked me like that I didn't know how to react. He tried to touch my shoulder but I jerked away. "Alex-" he started "naw fuck that how would you feel if you came home to your sister with a black eye from her bitch ass boyfriend, I wasn't thinking irrationally I was just protecting the one that I love. And don't ever think just because you are a cop you are better than I will ever be. I make just as much money as you if not more! I work my ass off for what I have and sure it may not be your typical career I still get mines and your not going to be to say anything to detour me from that. EVER!!" I bolted out the door. I wasn't sure where to go at this point. My phone started vibrating, I looked at the name and got extra excited.
"Hello!"
"Samantha! Oh how I've missed you my love. How are you" I said as I was walking in the direction my car. I dreaded the walk because it was so far.
"I'm good! I'm actually on my way back into town and in was wondering if my favorite best friend would come to my rescue tonight."
"Of course baby girl! How you coming in"

"Thank you alexia, I love you so much!"
"I love you too!! I'll see you later on tonight"

I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket. "Come on alexia we got about a 20 minute walk back you ready?" I said to myself and made my way down the street.
