"Ben? How do you know where I live?" I asked, a bit confused and scared at the same time.  He was silent for a moment, then he finally replied. "Oh uh....It's a small town. I just asked the first person I saw." He said. I was still a bit confused, but shrugged off my curiosity. "Oh. Okay....Do you um....want to come in?" I asked. He smiled and said "Sure...thanks.". I smiled a bit and nodded then moved out of the way. He then stepped in the house.

I closed the door behind him. I turned around to face him. "So, Do you want anything to drink? Water? Soda?" I asked. "Soda is fine." He said and I nodded. I went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, he followed. I grabbed a random soda bottle and a cup and began pouring in the soda. "You have a nice house." he said. "Oh...uh thanks, I guess" I said and put away the soda. He sat down at the island and I gave him the soda. "Thanks." he said, then drank the soda.

After a while, we really did have fun. We played a few of my video games and dance around to stupid music. We laughed as we did so. I think I really got to know Ben. He seems to be like a really nice person. I thought he was going to be like all the others, but, I really was wrong. He was really different. In my opinion, He was, like, a new friend. I haven't really had a friend in a while, but, I really didn't care.

Soon after our fun, nightfall came. He said he had to go so, I walked him to the front door. I opened it and he stepped out. Before he even had a chance to walk, I stopped him. I turned him around and hugged him. After a few moments, I realized what I was doing. I immediately pulled away. I was blushing like crazy. "S-Sorry Ben. I just....I-I mean...I.." I trailed off, stuttering a bit. I sighed an calmed myself down. "Look, I really had fun today. I'm glad I met you and I'm glad you came over. You really seem like a, well, friend." I said, still blushing a bit. He chuckled. "Thanks, Friend." He said, smiling. I smiled and hugged him goodbye.
