Chapter 5

  As I woke up the next morning, I felt happy. I hadn't really had a friend in a while. But, I haven't had a boy as a friend for years! I looked at the clock, It was already 7:00! "Shit! I better get ready!" I said. 

 I hurried myself out of bed and immediately jumped into the shower. I got dressed as quick as I could and left the house, skipping breakfast. 

 I was thankfully not late. I entered the school, went to my locker, grabbed my books, and went to class. As I sat down, I saw Ben. He was in his seat, waiting for the teacher. "Hi, Ben." I said, smiling. "Hey." He replied. Just as I was about to speak, Mr. Price walked in. "Good Morning Class!" He said, happily. 'What's he so happy about?' I thought. 

 After another class, it was finally lunch. I sat by myself, of course. Surprisingly, Once I began to eat, Ben sat down next to me. I was a bit shocked. "Uh....Ben?" I asked. "Yes?" he asked. "Why are you sitting next to me?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "Because your my friend!" He said, smiling. I smiled and continued eating.  Once we finished our food, We got up, and took care of the remains. 

 As I began to walk away, Ben grabbed my hand. "Wait! Where are you going?" He asked. I blushed a bit, his hand was still grabbing mine.  "Oh....uh....I really don't know." I said, still blushing. "Are you okay?" He asked, sounding worried. "Y-Yeah, I'm f-fine." I said, stuttering and blushing. "Turn around" He said. I calmly turned around. I looked at him, My face still pink. 

 "Why are you blushing?" He asked. I shrugged. 'Why am I blushing? He was only holding my hand! Wait...Do I like Ben? He's cute, but, He wouldn't go for a girl like me....Would he?' I wondered, lost in my thought. He snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Hello? Earth to (Y/n)!" He said, laughing a bit. I snapped out of it. "Huh? Did you say something?" I asked. "Never mind" He said, looking down.
