there's nothing special about those eyes.
anyone could have eyes like that. they're the most common colour in the world. ordinary, right?except
they're not ordinary.
at least not to me.
the way there's crinkles on both sides of those puppy dog eyes when she smiles and her long delicate lashes and when she closes them you can see the world map on her eyelids.
and when she laughs the crinkles increase and her eyes illuminate like the supernova was trapped inside them
what's ordinary about those eyes? they hold the magnitude of the earth and the light of a thousand suns.
they hold secrets and truths and memories.
they are two beacons in a storm that is my mind.
there's a black hole inside her and
her eyes are the source of gravity which pulls me towards heri could speak stories about those eyes
i could get lost in them forever
but everytime I try to describe them
my words die
and everytime i look at them i forget how to breathe
whenever I write about them i throw it away
because i just can't get her eyes in words
they speak stories
tales no one knows
they hold so much
i can never try to justify themso don't call her eyes ordinary
they are everything but.
