********
MARGARET LED US TO THE SHOWERS UP ON THE SECOND FLOOR.
We all couldn't thank her enough; she'd taken us, fugitives who had escaped from the prison that was right underneath hell, and didn't even question it. Arabelle could act like a boss, I can say that confidently.
Her son's room, which we found out her son's name was Sam, was a bright blue. There were clouds painted on the ceiling. I smiled, memories hitting me like waves crashing on the shore. It took all I could not to double over. I held back tears as I took in the familiar smell of boy and looked at all of the C.D's this boy had. He had alot. His bed was a king size circular bed, which surprised me seeing as though this room is so small. 'This kid had it good.' I thought. I chuckled softly, hearing Emelyn laugh, and then hearing a bark.
"IT'S SO CUTE!" Yelled Arabelle, both of the girls' laughter filling both of the rooms. I grinned to myself, ignoring the faces that Zee, Simon, and Donovan gave me. I ended up laughing quietly, myself.
"Now boys, you can listen to the CD's my Sammy has. Don't mess them up, okay?" I heard Margaret speak, sadness filling her voice. I looked back at the woman who was standing in the doorframe.
"Thank you, Mama M." I spoke softly, smiling down at her. She smiled back up at me and patted my shoulder. I had to lean down, so she wouldn't hurt herself by stretching to my height. I looked back at Zee and felt jealousy bubbling in my stomach, queing the nectar. I quickly shook my head. The nectar was running out, but whenever I even thought a pessimistic thought, or felt something based on anger, I could feel it. It was hard to control. It has been, ever since I was first injected with it.
WE HAD ALL GOTTEN SHOWERS AND DRESSED.
Donovan was wearing a white tank top, which made his muscles look bigger. He had on a pair of black basketball boxers and some NIKE socks. He had pulled his hair into dreadlocks, which in my opinion suited him well.
"I feel so clean, it's been so long!" He grinned, falling back onto the bed as Zee grabbed a towel and a washcloth. I could hear him giggling as he turned the shower on.
"GUYS!" Emelyn yelled happily, running into the room. She was carrying a fluffball that had grey hair and it was barking like mad at Donovan. Her hair was mildly wet, and she was wearing an aquamarine spring dress that fell to her knees, a pair of white TOMS on her feet. I could see small curls forming in her hair. I smiled, still standing because I didn't want to get the bed dirty. We had decided that I would shower last, which meant I was stuck in this damned uniform. I could feel a grin crossing my face, from seeing how beautiful my Emelyn was. I knew it was the shark's grin. I guess I was stuck with this for my life, a monster grin that scared my girlfriend half to death, including scaring the shit out of Arabelle, Zee, and the others. My grin dropped, seeing Em widen her eyes and take a step back.
Arabelle ran in after her.
"What's with the no mor-" Donovan interrupted her.
"Shit, Ara you look hot." I heard Donovan mumble. Arabelle was wearing a royal purple tank top with white skinny jeans that fit her legs perfectly. Her hair was left down, already dry, her caramel highlights shining. I looked from her to Em, and back to Arabelle. A smirk lit up Don's face, "You know how to rock clothes."
