Setting: Stark Tower...

"She's been like this since for how long now?" Cap asks looking at the unmoved Pepper on the couch

"Since Ward and Luke were taken," I say, "Annie disappeared and now I can't get a hold of William."

"...that was a month ago that they went missing wasn't it?" Cap asks

"Two months ago actually," I say pouring another bottle of scotch down the drain

"Tony stop that," Cap says stoping me from pouring any more of the bottle in the sink, "you're gonna regret it later when your completely dry of any alcohol."

"What's the point in drinking Capsicle; when my daughter is off grid in some location that only eyepatch knows about, my one son and grandson are kidnaped, my other son seems to have gone off grid as well..." I say with a sigh as I continue pouring scotch out, "and my wife hasn't moved from her spot on the living room couch in two months...Banner couldn't even get her to stop starring at the giant hole in the wall, or speak for that matter..."

"I'd say focus on Pepper," Cap says, "Will and Annie can take care of themselves for the most part, you know that..."

"Are you sure you don't wanna talk to Fury first?" Spidy asks me as we walk

"The old man doesn't completely trust the director; I've told you that bug," I say as we walk

"So what; You don't trust him either? Isn't he the one who woke you up?" Spidy says

Yes but..." I trail off as we get closer to the tower and I notice something strange, "Hey bug are you seeing this?"

"Seeing what?" He asks as we stop just a bit away from the front doors of the tower

"Right in front of us," I say pointing, "how do you not see the terrified, three year old boy standing right in front Stark Tower?"

"Carter relax," he says

"Relax?!" I snap, "a three year old boy is standing outside the front door of Stark Tower terrified and clearly alone and you want me to relax?!"

"Carter..." he starts but I ignore him and quicken my step towards the child

"Hey yoot ..." I say slowly as I get closer to the boy

"..." the boy turns to me, shaking and clearly scared

"Are you out here all by your lonesome?" I ask as I squat down to his height, "where're your keepers?"

"..." the boy's eyes start to water and roll down his slightly dirty face

"You gotta name kid?" Spidy asks coming up behind me

"..." the boy's brown eyes shift to me

"It's okay hoot," I coo softly, "we just wanna help you."

"M-m-my names Oward Stawk," the boy says between wails

"Oward Stawk?"Spidy asks giving me a confused look

"..." I think for a moment, "do you mean Howard Stark yoot?"

"..." the boy cries on as he nods his head

"..." I give Spidy a serious look as I stand up, "stay right here yoot okay?"
