I'm a little nervous about hanging out with Dave, I mean I've never really hung out with someone let alone had a friend invite me to they're house, I hope I don't do anything stupid. As I reached the gates I could see Dave standing next to the gate playing on his phone, here we go this is it, don't screw up. "Hey' I say quietly when I reach Dave "hey, ready to go?' Dave asked me with a slight smirk, ok what's with this guy and smirking seriously? "Yea, I text Angie telling her that I'll be home later' "let's go' Dave said as he started walking down the sidewalk, I quickly ran after him.

After a while we reached a tall apartment building, I followed Dave into the lobby and into an elevator " you don't have anything against puppets do you?' Dave asked with a raised eyebrow as we waited in the elevator "uh not that I know of, why?' That was a weird thing to ask me "we'll my bro has a lot of puppets and shitty swords everywhere' "oh' that's weird.

Finally we arrived on one of the top floors I followed down the corridor until we reached a metal door "this my place' Dave says while opening the door revealing a room which I assumed was the lounge there where puppets all over the ground, he really wasn't lying " hey bro I'm back!' Dave's yelled out, I tall man with the same blonde hair as Dave walked into the lounge except his hair was spiked to the side and he was wearing a cap and anime looking shades " sup lil man, and just who would this young lady be?'

The man said walking over to where I stood " bro this is Artemis, Artemis this is bro' Dave said gesturing towards bro " hello' I say with a small smile trying to be polite which is some times hard for me"hey, you know your the first girl Dave has brought home' bro whispers to me, I feel my face heat up, wow first girl that's so wow " really?' Was the only thing I could say, smooth Artemis real smooth -_- "he must really think something of you Artemis' bro said winking through his shades, I glance over at Dave who had a small blush coming out from under his shades, I giggled a little bit "come on let's level this loser' Dave says quickly grabbing my hand and pulling me along the hall to his room.

"I'm sorry about him arty' Dave still has a small blush on his cheeks " is it ok that I call you arty?' He questions with a raised eyebrow "um, yea sure, that's ok ' I say with a little blush as I sat down on his bed with my back against the wall as he sat at his desk that was basically a piece of wood on some concrete blocks. We start to talk about more random stuff pasificly music and his beats until I start to wonder why Dave always wears those shades? Because even though I haven't known him long he hasn't takin them off once, maybe he's hiding his eyes for some reason, maybe I'll ask John

I hope I get an answer because it's killing me not knowing, hey it's not my fault I'm curious

Thinking about it, I think I know what his situation is because I'm in the same situation, let me explain I wear green contacts to hide my real eyes which are a supernatural colour, but I can't tell you the real colour because it's a secret. So maybe he's hiding the real colour of his eyes.

I'm going to ask him.

"Dave' "yea' he's says plopping down next to me on his bed "why do you where those shades?' I ask looking at my fingers that where knotted together, I hear him take in a sharp breath " that's none of your business so don't ask again.....ever' he snapped coldly, glaring a little bit at me "sorry, we'll I need to get hoping its late and Lucy will be asking where I am so I'll see your tomorrow ' I say quietly while getting off his bed and grabbing my bag before I leave I turn around, so that I'm facing Dave " Dave if it's your eyes that your hiding, I know exactly how you feel, after all these aren't my real eyes' I say before leaving Dave with his mouth open like he was going to say something. I say bye to bro and then head off home.

" I'm home!' I yell out " LULLABY BIRD!!!' Lucy yells as she runs into my arms, I giggle she's so cute "hey princess goosey how was your day with out me?' I say as I carry the toddler to the kitchen to see Angie "it was bad I had no one to sing to me ' she started pouting " hehe, well I'm here now' I say laughing, we walked into the kitchen to see Angie doing dishes "hey arty, your foods in the oven since you missed dinner, how was your day?' I thought of Dave this afternoon I don't think he'll want to hang out with me anymore "it was good, John introduced me to his friends so now I have some friends' I say with a smile as I start to eat my dinner, it taste good even if It was a little cold "that's great so we're you hanging out with them after school?' I don't know how she will react if I say I was at Dave's house "yea, we went to the park for a bit' I say with a fake smile "Artemis since you have finished your food could you go put Lucy to bed?' Poor Angie needs a break she works everyday "of course and I'll do the rest of the dishes you need to go to sleep you look exsusted' i say picking up Lucy "yay lullaby bird time!" Lucy giggles as I pick her up " oh thank you, you really are an angel arty" Angie says as she heads up stairs " good night Angie' I say as I start heading to Lucy's room "night mummy!'.

I place Lucy gently in her bed "I don't want to go to sleep I'm not tired!' Lucy complains as she try's to crawl out of bed, I quickly grab her and tuck her in "what if I sing to you?' I say poking her in the nose "yayyyy!!' Lucy giggles "shhh are you ready?' I say as she settles down, Lucy quickly nods and I begin to sing

I can't believe I said that I'm such a dick head, I need to make it up to her some how. What did she mean that she that those weren't her real eyes, maybe she has green contacts, I'll make it up to her its just how?
