They both start with a greeting like the people were talking with each other.
Adele says "I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet"
The Chainsmokers say "4 years no calls"
They both seem like they haven't spoken to each other in a while
Adele says "to tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart"
The Chainsmokers say "I know it breaks your heart" they both have broken hearts and you know how love songs work both people are heart broken by the break up
