Disclaimer: I don't own Bethesda Studios,therefore I don't own Skyrim...I do WISH I owned Cicero though...who doesn't love that little mad jester? :D

As I sat by the fire, watching the flames do their dance.I wondered where I went wrong. Is it because I didn't visit often? No...no that can't be right. He knows my duty is the Dragonborn, savior of Tamriel and Skyrim.

Then...why? Why would he do that to me? And in 'our' home as well...now it's theirs.I was planning to buy another house anyway in Windhelm. Ulfric has been bothering me about that for months! That guy can't just stop bugging me about it since the war,and his steward too!

I let out an exasperated sigh as I closed my eyes.

What exactly am I going to do after that?

"Listener?" I opened my eyes again, and looked over at Cicero who appeared to be worried.Cicero...the greatest comrade I can ever ask for and...

"Yes,Cicero?"

Possibly why this actually happened.

*Flashback of one week before*

'I had my suspicions for a mere three visits.'

When I went inside with Cicero in my Breezehome like I always do when I have too much on me.The wooden house had a 'homey' feel to it,with only 3 rooms and 2 floors. The first floor has the kettle over the fire in front of the entrance, and further down is the kitchen table. To the hall on the left is the alchemy room. When you go up the steps,to the left is my Housecarls room,Lydia. And when you turn right you will see the master bedroom down the hall,Farkas' and I's room.

As I went up the steps, all of a sudden to the left of me, I heard Lydia speak to me while she was in her room.

"Why are you back already?"

I stopped in my tracks as my eyes widened and my jaw dropped.'What did she say?!' Normally she always says 'Honor to you, my Thane' and all that other Thane stuff, but this...completely took me off guard.I noticed Cicero tensed as he saw my expression and looked to prepare to attack her with his favorite dagger I've seen countless times on our journey.I slightly put my leg out in front of him, trying to not make Lydia see that the mad jester will jump at her any moment and signaling to Cicero not to commit it.He stopped reaching his dagger and glanced at me with confusion as I continued to look at Lydia with shock.I couldn't think of anything to say.And then she spoke again.

"Honored to see you,my Thane." And she walked past me. She reacted like she didn't say what she said to me.But I immediately shook it off and continued towards the entrance of my room with an angry Cicero following me,while doing his little mutters that he always does.

The problem now is that the entrance is conveniently blocked by Lydia.

"Want me to chop her up into pieces,my dear Listener? It will be easier to go into your room that way, I promise I'll clean it up!"

'Can he say it any louder?' I turned my head towards him as I answered him.

"No,Cicero she's my Housecarl. Can't be killing the one protecting my house, can I?"

He didn't reply as I passed by Lydia without a glance and immediately focused on putting my possessions that are weighing me down, and making it seem like I'm walking like a turtle.

When you enter the room, the first thing you see is a wooden chest against the leftmost wall and a king-sized bed.

I didn't glance back as I was too busy organizing my stuff with me and the chest.

When I was done,I got up and left the room where Cicero was guarding like a guard dog.

'Thats odd,where's-'

"Nice to see you, dear." I jumped slightly in surprise...I'm an assassin and I didn't sense him?...I'm so out of practice, perhaps a few contracts will help...?

I turned back towards the room and saw Farkas eating a sweet roll in a chair that's directly diagonal from the chest....

...yup,I'm out of practice. And IM the head of the Dark Brotherhood, some assassin I am.Perhaps Astrid and the others chose wrong...

"Oh! Hey Farkas, you caught me by surprise there." I smiled as I walked up to him as he continued to eat his snack that I always see him eat when I come.

"Nice to see you,my love."

I continued to smile as I left my home once again, with Cicero muttering and following me loyally.

----Slight Timeskip-----

"Hey,Cicero, what do you wanna do?"

I asked him as we left the well protected wooden gates of Whiterun and towards their stables that are a little down from the gates to collect Shadowmere,my loyal and only horse, well demon horse.

"Anything the Listener wants to do of course! Or perhaps we can visit Riften! All those ruffians, theives and cut throats about, that will be bring fun to Poor Cicero~!"

I could tell, with you dancing around me.I smiled at him in response.

"Hmmmm, sure. We have to collect the bounty for that Elder Dragon we killed in Lost Tongue Overlook anyway.Or should I say, that you and Shadowmere killed. That was such an overkill, that I would've felt bad for the dragon if it didn't nearly kill us all."

"Oh,no,no,no,Listener~!" He frantically waved his hands back and forth in front of his face.

"You took part in our little kill! You shooting all those glass arrows at that dragon,I'm surprised by the number of times you shot and yelled at it,that it wasn't tainting the pure snow underneath our feet while being burnt to dragon ash~"

"That's because that I did shoot at it,and MISSED.And I was the one running around with my armor on fire while you were going 'stab, stab, stab, stab, stab!' As you like to say."

"Oh~ you caught me Listener~" He sheepishly confessed.

I gave out a slight chuckle at his antics, these kind of moments makes me glad I made 'that' decision.

"Yeah,I guess I did.Now let's go,it's a long way to Riften Cicero and you know it.We can probably make a stop to rest in Ivarstead and then continue from there."
