Hey sunshines, thankyou for coming for chapter two! I really hoped you enjoyed the first chapter! X***
'What? What do you mean you've sold me?' Sydney whispers, to confused to even comprehend what's going on.
'Maybe I should leave you two to talk. ' The Headmaster strides away but stops and looks Sydney dead in the eye. 'Sydney none of this is your mothers fault.' And with that he walks away.
'I...I didn't do this Sydney. I would never do this to my little girl. I know we haven't been so close in the past but I really do love you with all my heart. Your dad did this and... and I can't do anything to help you.' Tears stream silently down her mothers face.
'Quit with the BS, and tell me what's going on. Just tell me and I'll handle it.'
Her mother looks at her daughter and straightens up, wiping the tears under her eyes, she smiles.
'I always loved how brave you are.' Tears threaten to fall, however she takes a deep breath and continues. 'Your dad has a problem with gambling and he made a stupid deal with a... mafia boss.' Her breath hitches and Sydney sits in complete shock.
This is news to Sydney. Her father is probably the most sensible person alive, always staying away from drugs or cigarettes. Out of both of her parents, her dad is her favourite. When she was little, he was always there for her- helping with homework, playing chess, everything. Then he got a really important job and forgot about Sydney altogether.
'Carry on. I want to hear what he did.'
'He was high off his ass when this guy came into the casino with a deal. If your father won, he'd get a multi-billion business deal, if the man won he'd get what ever your dad loved most... you. Your dad lost.'
The world stops turning and the room goes deathly silent until her mother speaks up.
'Sydney, you need to go away for awhile, just until I sort all this out. Okay?'
'Are you stupid?'
'What?' Asks Sydneys mother, shocked by Sydneys outburst.
'I HAVE A MAFIA BOSS COMING FOR ME, what is the point in hiding, when he's going to find me, maybe tomorrow or in a year! I'm doomed.' Sydneys words echo, bouncing off the walls. As soon as the echoes stop, silence fills its place.
'Coward.' Her mother states, breaking the awkward silence. 'What happened to the five year old girl who slapped the boy when he tried to kiss her? What happened to the girl who broke her leg getting a cat out of a tree when she was only 9! What happened to that girl? Because this is not her. She would never give up on herself so easily!'
''You was never there for me! Maria was my mum more than you, so don't you dare talk about knowing the 'real me' You was never my mum!''
'How dare you! I carried you for 9 months, put clothes on your back, made sure your belly was always full so Sydney, you don't get a say in whether you go away or not. I'm not letting you go, not to a murderer.' Sydneys mother grabs her bag and heads for the door. She motions Sydney to follow.

The private plane roars to life as it waits for Sydney to aboard. Sydneys staring at the sky, exhausted. 7 hours ago, she was on her way to school, now she's running from a mafia boss. She wants stay here but she doesn't want to be someones property, so she goes on the plane, even though she doesn't want to.
'Are you ready to go to Paris, miss Jackson?' Says Edward, the British pilot Sydneys known since she was 5.
'Yes, just get me out of here. Please.'
What a day. Sydney should of been in detention right now. And although Sydney never thought she would say this, she wish she was. Anything over this.
The plane starts and sets off up in the sky and Sydney settles in the arm chair, facing the window. Sydneys eyes grow heavy and she gives into sleep.
***
Piercing alarms startle Sydney, waking her. What's going on? Red flashing lights explode in the darkness, indicating something was very wrong.
'Hello.' Sydney screams and the plane wobbles sideways, chucking Sydney to the ground. Are we crashing? She just escaped one nightmare to another. Edward isn't even driving the plane, she knows this because in the window, they're going down at full speed!
Someone else starts to scream. The alarms are loud but that scream... that was louder, as if someone was getting murdered. There's only Sydney and Edward on the plane?
Suddenly the planes stops wobbling, the alarm goes silent and the flashing lights go off.
'Sorry about that miss Sydney, everything's muy bíen now.' Says the Spanish pilot.
'What was that? Why wasn't you driving Edward?' Screams Sydney. 'You nearly killed us!'
'Calm down, the engine went out, good job we have a back up, you are safe now mi amigo.'
'Wait, why was you screaming?.'
'I wasn't Sydney, it must of been in your head.'
Something didn't seem right. She was positive she heard screams but maybe she didn't hear correctly. Something isn't right. It seemed too easy, too quiet like before a storm arrives. She couldn't get rid of the feeling that something bad was going to happen, but what was it...
Mi amigo? Spanish accent? But didn't Edward have an... English accent? The flashing lights, doesn't that only happen when someone goes into the cockpit. No..no... no. Mafia boss? This isn't the right pilot, in fact, Sydney doubts this man is even a pilot at all.
'Where's Edward?' Sydney asks loudly, shocked by her own bravery.
Deep chuckles blast through the speakers. 'I knew you'd figure it out. He's dead.'
That can't be right, Edward? Dead? Grief washes over Sydney however she will not cry, not here.
'Who are you?'
Deep chuckles blast through the speakers. 'I knew you'd figure it out. I'm your worst nightmare puta.'
