Wear something nice.

Are you joking? He wants her to dress up nice and pretty to meet her kidnapper. This is all too much.

She taps her screen and gets up Sids number.

With what clothes? I didn't exactly pack for this, I have no clothes.

Within a couple of seconds, Sid has replied.

Look in the closet. Also there's a number on your phone under Gemma, call her, she will help with everything.

Gemma? A wave of jealousy washes over her, has she ever helped Sid with something? She must be important otherwise she wouldn't be put in her phone.

As if Sid sensed her hesitation, a text comes through her phone.

She's a stylist, strictly professional.
Call her. Please.

Fine.

Sydney goes into her contacts and it seems like everyone in this mafia is in it. People she doesn't even know yet, dozens of random names but she finds Gemma's number.

God what do you even put to a stranger when you need their help. Time to be brutally honest.

Hey, this is Sydney, you don't know me but apparently you're a stylist and I need help with deciding what to wear to meet the crazy mafia boss. Can you please help me?

Now we wait.

Usually Sydneys style is perfect but none of that really matters now. Fashion is just something that reminds her of home plus she has no idea what to wear to meet a very dangerous man.

Her mother would know, she knows everything to do with fashion. Since Sydney was little, she can remember her mum teaching her the correct way to dress. Sydney always had to be dressed perfectly, this was one of the reasons why people at school were jealous of her. They could never keep up with her. But now she's out of her comfort zone like is there a dress code in the mafia? Do women have to cover up?

Ping!

Hiya S, I've heard about you and your meeting tonight. Sure I'll be there in 2, you can get started by painting your nails red, the boss likes that😉 G

Oh god. She likes emojis, people who like emojis tend to be loud and quite childish, well from her experience. That emoji is definitely in the wrong place. What does that mean? She probably just meant it to try and get on his good side, not in his bed. Anyway she doesn't even know where the nail polish is.

The room is quite gorgeous, very different from the one at home. At home it was dark and classic, here it's bright and colourful. The carpet is thick, almost as comfortable as the bed, also grey like the bed. Weirdly, this new room feels more like home to Sydney than her actual room back home. It feels more designed for her.

She spots the nail polish on a shelf, too high up for Sydney. Oh well. She hates the colour red on nails, reminds her of the cheap girls from school.

Sydney hears talking in the distance and voices get louder, one sounds like Josè, the other must be Gemma.

Great.

Just at the moment, a curly hair girl walks into the room. A beautiful curly haired girl. Sydney suddenly feels underdressed compared this person. She looks down at clothes and realises she's lost herself. The old her would never walk around like this, it's time to pick herself up and sort herself out.
