The Second Time Around (3)

Rocco's POV

I'm so nervous, this is my kid. This is the first time I'm going to meet my kid. My own flesh and blood.

What if she doesn't like me? What if she hates me?

"Rocco, nandito na tayo" Sanya snaps me out of my thoughts.

This is the moment of truth.. Breathe Rocco, breathe.

They walk into Sanya's house, "Manang, asan po si Raffy?" Sanya asks the maid of house.

"Nasa kwarto po Ma'am, hinahanap na nga po kayo eh" The maid replied.

Sanya leads Rocco to her bedroom, where she and Raphaela sleeps together. Sanya slightly opens the door, "Sanya.."

"Bakit?" She asks Rocco.

"I'm nervous"

"Don't be" Sanya assures him.

"Raffy, look who I have with me" Sanya says as she picked up her daughter.

The little girl's eyes glittered as she saw Rocco, "Dada" she babbles.

"That's right, baby girl. It's Dada" Sanya smiles to Rocco as she passes Raphaela to him.

"Kilala niya ako?" Tanong ni Rocco, as he sheds a tear, happy tears.

Sanya nods, "Oo naman, kine-kwentuhan ko siya tungkol sa'yo at pinapakita ko rin ang mga pictures natin dati"

"Maraming Salamat at pinakilala mo ako sa anak natin, Sanya" Rocco smiles as he continues to hug and kiss his daughter.

Sanya let Raphaela and Rocco be alone together, she thought it was time for them to catch up. And for Raphaela to get to know her father more.

Sanya's POV

Nakita ko ang saya sa mga mata nila, sinisisi ko ang sarili ko na nagawa kong ipagdamot si Raffy sa Daddy niya. Kinailangan kong gawin yun dati, especially kasi dati sobrang busy ni Rocco. Ang dami niyang inaasikaso na mga business and his acting career.

"Ma'am, may kailangan po ba kayo?" Tanong sa akin ni Manang.

"Wala na po Manang, ako na po bahala. Magpahinga na po kayo, salamat po sa pag-aalaga kay Raffy" Nag good night na sa akin si Manang.

Bumalik ako sa kwarto ko ulit, nakita ko na nakatulog na pala si Raffy sa Daddy niya, "Tulog na siya, where do you want her?" Tanong sa akin ni Rocco.

"Mukhang komportable naman siya na nakahiga sa'yo eh, hayaan ko na lang siya sa'yo matulog" Sabi ko kay Rocco.

Plano ko ng umalis ng kwarto, sa salas na lang ako matutulog, "Sanya, saan ka papunta?"

"Matutulog na ako sa salas, may kailangan ka pa ba?"

"Wala, ok na ako dito"  Sabi ni Rocco.
