Part 74

Chresanto laid in his bed as he tossed and turned. He was thinking of his lover and her mister. He thought of all the things he was doing to her, may be he was holding her, touching her, and kissing her and she probably enjoyed every part of it. Chresanto thought of the man making love to the woman he loves. The image that popped in his head of him kissing all over his lover. Chresanto hated to sleep alone, so what is his next option. Chresanto felt his hand on the night stand to grab his phone and dialed a number and waited for the phone to be answered.

"Chresanto, its 1 in the morning, what could you possibly want?" Shaniia said in a tired and raspy voice while rolling her "R"

"You...." he said as he trailed off

"What Chresanto, im Not.... I repeat NOT! -" she started until she got cut off

"No no no.... not like that. I just wanna......" he trailed off

"You just want what Chresanto" she said being annoyed

"I just want someone to hold right now....Im kinda....yanno?.... alone" he said saidly and with hurt

Shaniia paused.What could she say?She knew what it felt like to feel alone and to have nothing to hold or someone to hold her. Shaniia took her hand and covered her face.

"I'll be down in a second" he said tiredly

"Okay" he said before he hung up the phone.

Chresanto waited 2 minutes for her to come and then heard a knock at the door. Chres quickly rose out of the bed and answered the door. Shaniia was standing in the door was with a big white t-shirt and chres gave her a crooked smile. Chresanto grabbed her hand lightly and made their way to the bed. Chresanto laid in the bed first and pulled the sheets back and waited for Shaniia to lay down next to him, and when she did he pulled the covers over the both of them. Shaniia turned and laid in the opposite direction of him, but Chres turned the same way as her. Chresanto hesitated to hold her.

"Shaniia?" he called for her

"Chresanto, You wanted me to make up at 1 in the morning and I did, you wanted me to get out of my bed, and lay in here with you and I am so what could you possibly want now?" she said annoyed.

Chresanto didnt want to asked but he wanted to

" Can I please hold you.... like I used to?" he asked softly

"Yes, chresanto, you can" she said softly

Chresanto scooted closer to her and he wrapped his arms around her. As he finished, Shaniia kissed each one of Chresanto's arms softly and whispered

"Chresanto Lorenzo Romelo August, Im in love with you" she said softly and low as she inhaled his scent of his body heavily and started to drift to sleep

Chresanto heard these words that Shaniia spoke, even though he wasn't supposed to, he thought to himself how could her ever mess up like this. Chresanto planted soft kisses on Shaniia's neck and upper back. It remind him of the first time they were at the beach and Chresanto slipped and said he loved her and they been saying it since then. This made Chresanto stop caring about where Jordan really was and who she was with.

"Shaniia Shantae Vasequez, Im in love with you too" he whispered in her ear before he went to sleep. and soon as he was asleep, a smile creeped on Shaniia's face.

The next day Shaniia woke up in Chresanto's arms. She lightly got out of his grip and went into her room. She went to the dresser and grabbed some clothes. She grabbed her black and gold Versace shirt that says "Versace" in gold with a pair of bleached and distressed jeans and a pair of red bottoms and got in the shower. When she was done Shaniia put some Kim K curls in her hair, Shaniia looked at her phone and decided to reach her brother. The phone kept ringing then someone answered

"Hello?" the manly voice said

"Craig?" she asked but then the phone hung up. Shaniia just sat on the bed and thought about what happened.

When Shaniia had her drug habit, she cut everyone off. She couldn't speak to her bother, couldn't hear her mother voice, couldn't look at her sister, and most of all she couldn't look her baby in the eye knowing what was wrong with her. Shaniia saw the door crept open.

" Hey gorgeous, you ready?" Jacob asked while giving her a smile

"Uhm. Yeah sure" she said while smiling. She walked to Jacob and kissed his cheek.

Shaniia was heading downstairs think Chresanto was going to greet her with a kiss right the lips and she wouldn't hold back. But instead she was disappointed to see he was kissing his lover. Shaniia didn't want to sit and watch them so she interrupted them

"Come on, I gotta baby to see" shaniia said with and attitude

All of them walked out of the house and got into the truck, Shaniia, Chresanto, Rayan, Jacob, and Jordan, all headed to the hospital. Shaniia sat in the back with the boys as Chresanto and Jordan sat in the front. Jordan put her hand on Chresnto's thigh and Shaniia saw. When shaniia would do that, he would take one hand off the wheel to kiss her hand, but chres didnt do that, he just smiled at her. When they reached the hospital they all got out the car and went to the front desk and was greeted by an older Chinese lady with long grey hair

"Good morning Madame, How can I help you" she said with a smile

" Good morning, were visitors and we were wondering what is Romelo Vasquez August's room number" I asked politely and she began typing on her computer

"His room number is 144 make a left then a right" She said

"I thank you" i told her we started to walk away until she called for me.

"Excuse me, Madame?" she said

"Yes mam?" I said

"May your man be Shaniia by any chance" she questioned me

" Yes mam it is, may I ask why" I asked

" I do not know if you remember me but, I am Hahn's mother, you were the friend of his and you were the girlfriend of A'shai? " she said

It all came to me, Hahn's family has a connect and A'shai's dad, Barone, was running with them. Hahn was the best person you could meet on this earth and he helped me do and het through a lot of things in life

"Ms. Ling?" I asked

"Yes, yes its me" she said" Oh Hahn would love you see you right now.

I took a piece of paper and wrote me number on it and gave it to her

"Please tell him to contact me at anytime" i said

"I will" she insured me then she grabbed my shoulder before I could walk away" Shaniia?" she said

"Yes?" i answered

"I am sorry for your lost of A'shai and your baby, you were and are always in my prayers every night" she said with her heavy accent

"I thank you so much Ms. Ling, and thats why im hear, I had another child, His name is Romelo, he' 2 years old" I said

"Oh how wonderful, what is he doing here?" she asked and before I could get anything out, I choked up.

"Well, he's in a coma, there's no telling if he's gonna make it but, I pray everyday he does" I said cracking a smile. Ms.Ling tilted her head and held her heart and sighed

"Oh Shaniia, your always so postive, I tell you what? When your baby is A okay, you Bring him over so me and Hahn and Chang can see him okay?" she said with a smile

"I'll do that Ms. ling" i said

"Okay dear, you take care" she said

"I will" i told her and walked off.

We all walked to Melo's room everyone entered but me, I just stared at the door. Ray looked back at me and I folded my lips and looked back at him

"Come one, i bet he misses you" rayan said as he pulled me in

I looked at my baby and i wanted to break down but I couldn't let Jordan see me cry because she would always hold this over my head if I did. I looked at the peach colored gown he had on. I let a couple of tears fall from my eyes. I walked up to the bed and kissed his forehead. I then stepped out of my red bottom heels and laid in the bed with him. I just knew he could hear me. I put his head on my arm and whispered in his ear like I did when he was a baby

"Romelo" I trailed off and rolled my "R". "Oh my Romelo, your getting big my king, Oh your uncle would love to see you." I whispered.

I kissed his belly and he didnt flinch. When I would kiss his stomach he would burst out laughing but this time he didnt.

"Romelo, my king, please answer mommy" I asked and I began to beg him. I started to cry but Chresanto grabbed me out the bed and hold me and sat me down.

Then a indian woman about 5'2, with a brown complexion, and long wool hair enter the room and I knew that face from anywhere.

"Ms. Hindu?" I asked as I sucked up my tears

"Ah yes, Ms. Bozeman, I've missed you so much my love" She said while giving me a hug." So shaniia, Hows your heart honey? Oh how I miss being your doctor, I loved to see you when you were growing up, I felt like I raised you" she said in her heavy accent

" Its been good. So ,Ms. Hindu please just give it to me straight." I said

"Well, he isnt getting worst nor better and the longer we keep him on Life Support the more its going to cost" she said

"Wow, Wow, Wow." Jordan started, " So you mean if the baby stays on life support the more its gonna come out of Chresanto's pockets?" she asked

"Well, if Mr. Chresanto is the one paying then yes" she answered

"So like, is there a cheaper support? she asked

"Im afraid not" Mrs. Hindu said

Jordan looked around the room. Then she walked up to Chresanto who was sitting next to Rayan

"So family, you pick, Do you want to keep paying or you want to cut the plug?" she ask

"I want to-" shaniia started until Jordan and answered

" Pull the plug" she said

This shocked everyone. Who the hell gave her the authority to be able to call shots for a child that wasn't hers? Shaniia couldnt say anything

"What the fuck did you just say" Chresanto asked as he pushed her from in front of him

"I mean baby, he's only 2 he hasnt had a full life. Just put him out of his misery" she said

"Bitch, do you understand thats my fucking son you talking about?" Chresanto said as he raised his voice and mugged her in her face and watched as she fell to the ground.

"Fuck you, you selfish bitch, all you want is my fucking money you cheating ass bitch" he said as he was going to walk up on her

Shaniia stood in front of him and smacked fire out of him.

"What the fuck is wrong with you huh? If you ever got a problem with a bitch you dont put cho damn hands on them, you tell me,And I'll handle that shit, Do you fucking hear me Chresanto?!" she raised her voice at him

"I hear you" he said with bitterness.

Shaniia stood over Jordan and kicked her in the face. Jacob grabbed shaniia and Rayan picked up Jordan and put her outside. Shaniia felt like she was going crazy.

"Ms.Hindu, look dont you dare take my baby off the support okay? My baby is going to make it so dont dare, we dont care how much it cost. shaniia said while sucking up her tears

Mrs.Hindu nodded her head and left the room. All hell just broke loose. Before visiting hours were over everyone left except Chresanto and Shaniia and they both laid on each side of Melo and didnt say a word as Shaniia played with melo's Feet. They both began to drift to sleep. When they was asleep Shaniia heard a small whine and opened her eyes and panicked. Melo was looking at her dead in the eyes

"Chresanto. Wake.The.Hell.Up" she said in a panicking manor

"What" he moaned

"Melo's awake Got get Mrs.Hindu Now" she said in a serious tone

Chresanto rose up to see Melo's eyes and ran out the room. While they waited Romelo cried and cried Shaniia sang to him to calm him down and he started to cry less and less. Chresanto came back in the room out of breathe and breathing heavy while holding to the door with 3 doctors behind him.

"Shane is he okay?!, Why isn't he crying anymore?" He said almost yelling with a panicking tone in his voice.


"Aye, shut up asshole he's asleep, he just needed his mommy to sing to him, isn't that right Melo?" She said with a smile on her face. She then kissed Melo's stomach and a smile appeared on his face. Chresanto looked at his son and back at Shaniia. A smile crept on Chresanto's face then her lipped to shaniia

"You're the best" he lipped to her

"You're awesome" she lipped back

All the doctors walked up to the bed and asked Shaniia to get off the bed and did as she was told. Shaniia stood over where she could see her baby and Chresanto came over and held her.

"He has a steady heart beat" one of the doctors said

"His vals are in okay shape" the other one said.

"Ms. August-" a doctor started off to say

"Oh, no I'm not an August I'm-" she stated to the doctor before Chresanto cut her off

"She's a Mrs. August" he said as he smiled at Shaniia and she smiled back

"Okay "Mrs.August" we will now proceed to take the tube out of his throat that is pushed down to his stomach and the tubes in his nose okay?" she stated to Shaniia

"Do what ever you have to Doc" Shaniia said

Shaniia watched closely as one of the doctors took the tube that was in Melo's nose out and when it came out it was a lot of green slime on it and now it was time to take out the tube in his mouth but it took longer than usual.

"Call an RN" a Doctor said

"What's going on" Shaniia questioned"

"Well, sometimes in this procedure, the tube will get stuck from the mucus on the stem so it seems that its stuck pretty bad. And we might have to do an open surgery" the Doctor stated

Shaniia saw as the one Doctor was yanking on the tube and Romelo began to cry and Shaniia walked up to the pale female Doctor and pulled her off of her baby.

"Bitch, what the fuck is wrong with you huh? Yanking on ma Mutha fucking baby like that and got him crying you dumb fuck bitch, go stand in a fucking corner and see how you dont need to do open surgery" Shaniia said as she grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and when to Melo.

Shaniia touches Melo's cold stomach and a grin appeared on her face. Shaniia squeezed Melo's sides and started to feel inside of his mouth. Shaniia took 2 fingers and put them close to his throat and began to fan at Melo's nose so he could sneeze."Sneeze for me baby" Shaniia whispered. When Melo sneezed Shaniia felt his stomach tighten and quickly removing the tube with out hurting him and threw the tube on the steel plate.

"Well job done Shaniia" Mrs.Hindu said in the doorway, "I see I taught you very well"

"Yes you have, when will he be able to go home?" she asked

" Today actually, only if you want? He's in tip top shape, only thing is he wont be able to walk for a few days. No matter how bad he makes you think he's gonna do it, he's gonna be in a lot of pain. Give him at least 3 days Ms. Shaniia, My love" Mrs.Hindu stated

"Yes, mama I will, You have my word" i said as she came over and hugged me and gave me a piece of paper.

"Now honey, I want you to bring him over to my house one day so me and Lester can see him okay?" she asked

" Okay I will Mama" she said with a smile then all the doctors left

"Okay get him out the bed and lets hit home" Chresanto said as he smacked his hands together

"Wait!" shaniia said."whats wrong?" Chres asked," I want to take him a bath, can you just bring me that bag right there, I brought him some clothes just im case" Shaniia cheesed and Chresanto gave her the bag and told her" Your the best mom that earth has ever had"he said, " Your a cool dad" she stated. Chres looked at her a little longer and kissed her and Shaniia smiled then picked up melo and went to the restroom. " We wont be long"


Shaniia looked at her chubby baby as his looked up and smiled at her with his big light brown eyes and his 3 small white teeth and kissed his head. Shaniia filled the sink up with water with alot of bubbles and went to her bag and grabbed a blue rubber duck and put it in the sink and sat on the toilet. When she sat down she began to take off of his peach robe and diaper and sat him in the sink. Melo felt the water and began to splash and bite the duck and this had brung so much joy to her heart and she took out her phone and took pictures of him ad of when he tried to eat the bubbles and post the pictures on Instagram and put a caption under it that says:

"Best Baby Award goes to Romelo August, because he always brightens up mommy's day" then tagged his name because she name him his own personal insta so people could see him.

Shaniia was turned away from the sink until she heard

"Mummy, mummy" the pleading voice of her baby as he had his hands out wanting her to pick him up with his lip poked out.

Shaniia picked up melo and got his towel out her bag and dried him off and she looked at his very and super curly hair and kissed his head. Shaniia put Melo on a White, Blue, and Purple Grapes Jordan sweat suit with the grapes Jordan's shoes and him and Shaniia walked out the restroom.

"Say, I'm ready daddy we ready to go home" She said in her baby voice and Melo began to babble and put his hands in his mouth and chres took Melo out of my arms and bounced him as I got my stuff together.

"Well, tell your Mommy if she can hurry her slow ass up sometimes then we can get home." chres said in a baby voice Melo took his hand out his mouth and looked at me and looked at Chresanto and said

"Nooooooo" he said as me and him both giggled." You not supposed to be on mommy side your supposed to be on daddy's" Chresanto whispered to me.

"Come on, lets rock" she said as she grabbed all the bags.

As they walked out of the building, the feeling Shaniia got is what she was longing for all this time, all she wanted was to feel that she was needed. All she ever wanted was to feel like she was a family. Soon as they got home shaniia took Melo up to his room and played with as he laid on the bed. When she walked to his toy box and Melo climbed off the bed to follow her but Shaniia quickly ran to Melo and put him back on the bed.

"No, no baby, you cant walk right now, you gotta wait a lil while okay?" she tried to make him understand but he kept doing it over and over, so Shaniia put Melo on the bed and tapped his leg.

"I said no!" she said a little sternly and Melo began to kick,scream, and cry. Shaniia began to feel bad about what she did to her baby. Chresanto burst through the door.

"Whats going on" he questioned as Melo put his arms out and reaching for him and as Shaniia began to cry as he picked up Melo.

"Chresanto, I didnt mean to hurt him, he kept wanting to walk but Mama said let him wait a while and i promise then I tapped his leg I didnt want it to hurt I just wanted him to stop im sorry" she said while crying. Chresanto kissed her forehead.

"Its not your fault okay, I'll just put him down for a nap okay" he said

"Okay" she responded as she watched them walk out of the room

This weight heavy on Shaniia' s mind as he doing that because he was upset, she didnt know, she just thinks its time for some motherly advise.
