   *Class Hours*

I watched Sergio write down all the equations on the board. I could barely see. I saw Ariel, staring at him intently.

"I heard Mr. Rubio slept with a student the other day," someone whispered.

"Yeah, everyone is talking about it. I wonder who it was," someone replied. Was this all true? Or do they seriously hate our teacher? I watched Sergio pass out the homework to the class. They were all giving him dirty looks, especially Ariel.

After class, everyone was dismissed except for Ariel. I went out the hallway and hid behind the wall, listening to their conversation.

"Why are you telling everyone we had sex? Are you trying to get me fired?," Sergio asked. I was shocked. At the same time, he's Sergio, he would have sex with anyone.

"This is what you get for giving me a bad grade. You won't be working here for long," Ariel said. What a jerk. I know Sergio slept with him and all but he shouldn't do this!

"They'll also know that you're the one I slept with," Sergio said.

"No they won't. I told everyone you slept with Metha. That kid has the highest grade in this class, I'll need to get rid of him too," Ariel laughed. I'm also doomed! I wish we had sex but this is way out of hand.

"Umm, Mr. Rubio?," I walked into the classroom, acting like nothing happened.

"It's best if we continue this tomorrow," Ariel smiled. He walked off with an evil grin.

Sergio rubbed his eyes and took a deep sigh.

"Is everything alright?," I asked. Sergio would get pissed if he found out I heard their conversation.

"Yeah. It's been a stressful day," he said. I wrote in my notebook, just in case anyone was overhearing our conversation.

"I can tell something's bothering you, please tell me. I'm really worried," I wrote. Sergio started to cry. I felt bad for him. I wanted to help but I didn't know how.

I waited in front of the school. Metha should be out by now.

"I'm here," a person said. I looked to my right and it was Metha. He had a sad look.

"Oh hey. What took you so long?," I asked.

"Nothing. I'm just really worried about Sergio. He's had a stressful day. He says he's alright but I know he isn't," he cried. I got my handkerchief and wiped his tears.

    "Don't cry. I'm sure it's something minor," I assured. I hugged him.

He pushed me away and cried a little more. "It's not. Sergio is going to lose his job and I can't do anything! I'm useless." Metha ran off into the busy streets. I should give him some time.

"Jernee, I baked you your favorite food!," I yelled.
