*Monday, 6:00 AM*
I saw Sergio sitting at the table, waiting for me. He put roses at the center of the table. I sat across from him. The environment was so, light. It felt like it was in a different universe. He put hands on my face and leaned in for a kiss. I couldn't see anything now. It was getting blurry. What's happening?
I woke up. I was laying in bed. Was it all a dream? I wish it could be real. Sergio sat at his desk, playing on his computer.
"Look who had a bad dream," Serio said. He didn't turned to look at me. He just kept playing. What a jerk.
"It wasn't bad. . . I think," I walked over to the closet to get my clothes. After all, it was school. I went to the living room seeing everyone was there.
"How was you sleep?," Jernee giggled. Why was she laughing?
"It was great. I needed it," I walked over to the fridge to get some bread. I was starving.
"I'm sure you did," Natalie rolled her eyes and went to her room. Jernee followed her.
"School starts in thirty minutes. You should get ready. I'll drive you there," Kalia said. What nice roommates I have.
*Monday, 6:37 AM*
"Metha, don't forget to take notes. When school ends, come straight home," Kalia said. I stepped out of the car. I waved goodbye to her. She drove off. Now to meet new friends.
I walked towards the biggest building on campus. I should probably ask for directions. I walked towards the blonde with a greenish backpack. She seems nice.
"Hello excuse me. I need directions to this classroom right here," I showed her my schedule. The blonde turned around. It was Jernee!
"Hey Metha, just go towards that building over there," she pointed to a small building near a bunch of apple trees.
"What are you doing here? I thought you went to a different college," I said.
"Let's just say something happened, okay?," she said. I went towards the building near the apple trees. Such a nice environment. I looked at the trees until I bumped into a person. I dropped all the books. What a disaster.
"I'm so sorry!," I said. I piled all of the books and put it in my arms. I looked up to see the face of the person I bumped into. It was a man with sunglasses. He looks familiar.
"It's okay kiddo. Things like these are more common than you think," he helped me up.
"I was going to this class," I showed him my schedule. He examined it.
"You're in luck kiddo. You just happen to be in my class," he said. He opened the door for me. We walked down a small hallway packed with kids. I was so nervous. We walked into a classroom that had too many kids to seat. I sat at the front of the room.
"Class! Take your seats. Or just sit on the ground if there are no more seats," he took off his sunglasses. Why? Out of all the people in the world. It was him.
"I am Professor Rubio. I will be your math teacher this semester. I expect all of you to pass my class with flying colors. Or else you'll need to retake my class," he said. The girls in the classroom gasped when he took off his glasses. I felt uncomfortable, but happy at the same time.
*Monday Night* *Mikaela's POV*
"Come back here! Give us back that case!," the man yelled. I climbed up a ladder on a side of a building. I jumped building to building. I need to get back home. The man climbed up the ladder. He pulled out a tranquilizer gun and shot at me. He was really bad at aiming. I was almost home! A felt something sharp hit my leg. I couldn't move my legs. The man walked over to me and kicked me in the stomach.
"You slut, this is what you get for not holding on your end of the deal," he kept kicking me. Until I blacked out.
I woke up in my bed, with Kalia right beside me. She put a hot towel over my head.
"Mikaela, I told you plenty of times to stop making deals. Go find a job," Kalia said.
"You know why I can't do that. Kalia, please don't tell the others. If they find out, they'll kick me out," I said.
"Fine, but if you're going to go somewhere, I'm going to come with you. I can't trust you to go alone," she walked out of the room. She's always been there for me. I wish I could do the same for her. I should go to sleep.
*Kalia's POV*
I was really worried for Mikaela. She can't keep doing this. I walked to the living room to see Jernee and Natalie. They were watching the news.
"Hey Kalia! Have you seen the news?," Jernee asked.
"No, why? Did something happen?," I said.
"An incident happened near our area. They saw a man being tossed off a building by someone wearing full on black. We should be careful when we go out at night. It could be dangerous," Natalie worried. The door opened. Metha and Sergio walked in. Metha rushed to his room and shut the door.
"Is he okay?," I asked.
"He's fine. He just had trouble adjusting to college. He'll get used to it in no time," Sergio grabbed chips from the cabinet and sat on the couch to watch the news. I went outside to get some food from the local grocery store. Mikaela must be hungry. I bought some yogurt and walked home. I felt a presence behind me. I made a right to see it was a dead end. I turned around to see two men, holding knives.
"What a fine looking body you have darling. It'd be a shame if something happened to it," one of them said.
"You guys should leave. I won't call the police, I promise," I said.
One of the men charge at me with a knife. I reached into my sleeve and pulled out a sword. I broke his knife with my sword. The men pulled out guns and shot at me. How am I going to get out of this? I looked at the around the alley. Didn't see anything. I guess I should try this one move. I hope I don't fall. I wall jumped between the two buildings. I should get home before I get killed.
*Tuesday Morning* *Metha's POV*
I went to the living room. The only person that was there was Sergio. He was reading a book and reading a book.
"Where is everyone?," I asked.
"They went somewhere. The school is having. . . difficulties. So it's canceled," he said. He poured some coffee into a different cup and set it right next to him.
"Why didn't you go with them?," I asked. I sat next to him.
"Someone has to watch you," he said. I drank some of the coffee. It was really good. I wish he could make me coffee everyday. Sergio got up and spilled coffee on me.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!," Sergio got napkins an wiped my shirt.
"I can do it myself," I blushed. I grabbed the towel and wiped myself up. I went back to my room and hid under a blanket. I should just go back to sleep.
