Save Me (A Remery story)

Ricky's POV.

Gus and I have been together for about two years now. He may seem like a good boyfriend and all... but indoors, he's a monster. He puts me down constantly, hits me, I can't take it anymore. Every time when someone asks me about the bruises on my body, I have to say it was an "accident". I have nowhere to hide or run, my parents died in a bad car crash when Gus and I started to date. Gus brings it up sometimes, saying that I should've been in the car when they died or saying it should've been me who died instead of my parents. I tried staying over my best friend Landry's place, but she's been scared of Gus ever since he found me spending the night over her house the first time I ran away. I've lost all hope. 

I was texting Landry about this movie we were going to see, she asked if Gus will let me go, I told her that I didn't ask him yet. Every time I want to hang out with a friend, Gus has to come with me. His rules, sadly. I tried sneaking out, but he has security cameras/traps hidden around the house. I continued to text Landry about the movie, until I heard the door open and slammed shut. It was Gus. 

"Hey baby. How was work?" I asked him. He just looked at me and rolled his eyes. "Like you'd care." He set down his car keys on the table along with his cellphone. "You're right, I don't." I muttered back. Suddenly, I felt him pull my hair back. "Huh? I didn't catch that" He said angrily, then he punched me in the face which caused me to fall to the ground. "I'm sorry baby, I l-love y-you" I said, tearing up. My nose started to bleed, some of it dripping to the floor and my shirt. "WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT TALKING BACK? HUH?" He yelled, then he kicked me in the stomach. I groaned in pain. I was crying and bleeding so much, I'm so glad he didn't go too far.  I kneeled and held my stomach. I was breathing hard, then I started to pass out. The last thing I heard before blacking out was the door to our room being slammed.
