I am really sorry this took so long to be put up. I started this story and posted the first chpater but then soon lost interest and life and other stories got in the way but my inspiration came back and I finally finished chapter 2. I don't know when I will post another chapter up but hopefully soon.

Chapter 2

Larrah didn't completely understand that she would never see her parents or her brother again. All she really knew was that her other feelings were clouded by a deep sadness. And although Master Yoda, as she now called him was there with her, she still felt lonely. And being alone had always been her greatest fear. When she went in the woods alone though it was different, she was comforted by the constant presence of the forest, or the force she learned to call it. Then when she was around her family and friends again it took a step back and let them fill her void of loneliness.

Her fear was that they, her family and everyone she cared about would leave her without a thought, that the force would leave her without a connection to the world to draw comfort from. She couldn't imagine how people who didn't have a connection with it lived. It was like energy was flowing through her, not in her, as she would never want to covet the power of the force for her own, she wanted everyone to feel its warmth.

Her brother, Erek had come to see her, their father had been the one to tell him about Larrah leaving as their mother was telling her. He was older, and she realized he probably understood exactly what was happening much better than she did. And that thought warmed her, because it meant one day she would understand why she was leaving too. He had hugged her tightly and had even cried while doing so. It was then in his embrace as they stood at the base of their family's home tree she realized her brother would never chase her again, and never have the chance to surprise her one day. They would always be siblings by blood, but family wasn't only about genetics, it was about the bonds you shared.

Larrah was not to take any of her personal items, as Jedi were forbidden from having attachments... An idea she was very confused with, how would she stop herself from getting attached to things? Instead she gave her brother the bracelet she had been working on. "To remember me always," She had told him as she tied it tightly to his wrist, the fabric would stretch over time. Just like she knew her brother would, he was obviously not going to be that size forever so she was happy he would always have that bracelet. When she really thought about it, she had almost chosen completely different string, a much stronger type that would not loosen over time. But she had gotten a feeling to use the other, a feeling she was glad she'd had. Erek had nodded promising he would never take it off, and that it would be impossible to forget her.

After him she had hugged her father tightly and he told her he loved her and was proud of her, and then she had turned to her mother who was already crying openly and strongly. She had kneeled down on the ground to come to Larrah's height and embraced her tighter than ever before, almost like she didn't want to let go. But eventually she did and she wiped the tears that were falling down Larrah's face and gave her a small smile.

"Know that your father and I love you very much, and only want the best for you,” Her mother had told her and Larrah had only nodded in acceptance, saying she loved them both as well.

After that she turned to Master Yoda who was patiently waiting a few feet away and then they were off. With one last look from Larrah, Master Yoda and she had started the walk back to his fighter jet.

When she saw Master Yoda's ship, a part of her was very excited as she had never flown inside one before, yet alone seen the stars or a different planet up close. She wondered what their destination would look like, would it be similar to Yelsain and covered with trees and rivers? Or covered in oceans where they would have to live under the water? That would be strange, she had always lived so high up and to suddenly live so...low was strange. Another part of her was wary, as all Yelsainian people were of all things metal, only using it if there was no other choice, it was practically avoided like a plague. She would have to leave that teaching behind with the rest of her belongings, luckily the belief was not so deeply instilled in her yet. And another part was sad. The aircraft symbolized her leaving the planet she had been born on. Leaving her family and friends, her forest and everything she had ever known. Yet, when she walked up the ramp and inside the fighter she did not falter, continuing inside at a steady and determined pace.
