It was a peaceful day in the mansion of Duke Roche, you could hear the songs of the birds as maids scurried around cleaning and the yells of an enthusiastic cook screaming at his underlings.

*SLAM*

I shut my book on the history of pastries and stand up from my short chair(A/N- I really love starting my chapters with a shutting of  book :3). As I straightened out my wrinkled dress I looked around the huge library that I spend most of my time inside of. It's been a week since my birthday. I completed all of my training to be a proper lady and all of my educational teachers decided that they had nothing more to teach me. So I just enjoyed my time leisurely as I ate pastries that I spent all of my allowance(which is quite large) on and napping on all of our comfy furniture.

... Un I just remembered I said I would start practicing magic, right.

I left the library my little steps resounded on the clear floor. Hmm I memorized the way to Otou-sama's office from the library. If your wondering were Alice-chan is well...

I ditched her.

Honestly she's pleasant company but it's weird when she watches me read the huge books in the library... or do anything that a normal three year old child wouldn't do. It's like she's trying to stare into my soul and it creeps me out. But most of the time I just enjoy trying to break that tsundere mask of her's... fufufu her lovely blushing face...

Ah it seems that I'm at Otou-sama's office already, a genuine smile naturally appeared on my face. My Otou-sama's also cute in his own ways. FUFUFU

... is it weird for his daughter to say stuff like this? Hnn~ let's ignore that.

I opened the door myself quite easily, I guess abnormal strength is a perk to being a vampire.

When I looked towards my Otou-sama's desk, as usual he was doing paper work. The fatigue showed on his face, he had his usual bedhead and slight stubble was visible on his face. I guess he has a lot more work to do since he has no wife to help him... I shall make myself useful.  I due to my new found cheerfulness skipped up to my Otou-sama who hadn't noticed me yet and lifted myself on his desk to come face to face with him.
