Lins pov:

I held her hand tightly as the doctor was explaining everything to me. I don't hear a lot, just the major parts.

"PFS... Periodic Fever Syndrome"

"Hallucitory"

"Medication for sleep"

"Family support"

I look over to Gray, the doctor had given her something for her fever. "So her fevers spike so high she hallucinates?" I clarify, he nods. "Most commonly about something that has happened in her past" he says, I nod. "Mr. Miranda I will warn you. It's seems she's had this syndrome for about a year untreated. Her nutritional signs show she has been living un-sheltered for almost 2 months now. Though she won't need regular appointments medication is expensive and goes quickly..." "prescribe her whatever she needs, what ever it takes. I'll pay" I say, he nods.

In that moment I realized this girl was now my daughter. I don't care if she wasn't really mine, if my name wasn't on her birth certificate. She's my daughter. I'm going to help her.

"I'll do whatever helps, we all will" Anthony says, I smile. Pippa comes running through the door. "Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin" she says, I chuckle. "Where have I heard you calling my name like that before?" I smirk, she smacks me upside the head. "Shut up." "Called it" I heard quietly, Gray was smiling at us. "Thank the lord" I say and hug her quickly. I soon felt multiple people join our hug. "Guys... can't breathe under here" Gray says, we all quickly move away. We all sit down in silence. "Oh! I had news!!!" Pippa says, I kiss her forehead. "What is it?" I ask. "We can have custody of Gray is we have her biological father sign off custody" she explains. "Well where is Grays father?" I ask looking over to the teenage girl having a conversation with Jaz and Renée. "In prison" she says sadly. "For?" I ask and what she says next explains a lot.

          "Convicted for child abuse"
