Chapter 6

After the whole incident with Aiden, Jake finally calmed down and now were laying on his bed playing twenty questions.

"Favorite color?"I asked, since I really didn't know any of the small things like his favorite color or animal.

"Purple, what's yours?" He replied with a small smile. Wait what?! Jake's favorite color is purple??

"Really yours is purple?" I asked , which sounded a lot ruder than I wanted intended.

"Uh..yeah?"He stuttered seeming nervous.

"Oh! I didn't mean to sound so mean! I was just surprised that your favorite color is purple!" I quickly stated while stumbling over his words. He seemed relieved after I explained it to him.

"Oh and my favorite color is green, like your eyes." Oh shoot! I did not mean to say that out loud!

"Really...?" He asked seemingly on sure as he blushed some, wow im seeing sides of Jake that I didn't even know there were.

"Ya.." I muttered feeling embaressed by my outburst.

"er...favorite animal?" He asked trying to move on to a different subject.

"Bear!!!" I exclaimed excitedly, i've loved bears ever since I was little.

"That's adorable"He stated with a bright smile on his face, which made me blush and look down.

"No it's not" I complained while crossing my arms over my chest.

"It's adorable how excited you get because of your favorite animal." He replied happily"Im going to take you to the zoo sometime."

"I love going to the zoo I haven't been there since...."I almost said something I was going to regret but luckily I caught my self.

"Since when?" Jake asked curiously. Can't he just pretend I didn't say that?

"Since uh...I was little?" I tried to say convincingly but failed, I mean its not completely a lie.

"Uhuh sure...you can tell me you know" He pressed with a small smile on his face as he interlocked our fingers.

"O-okay...I haven't been to the zoo since my dad passed away when I was 10...we were driving to the zoo w-when..a car was going the wrong way on the street and right right into the front of us...."I finished with tears streaming down my face, suddenly my head was being pulled onto Jake's chest as he rubbed my back soothingly.

He whispered kind words into my ear as I continued to cry into his shirt. After I was calmed down I sat up slightly so I could look at him.

"I got your shirt all wet..." I mumbled sadly as I looked down at his shirt.

><Jake's Pov><

"I got your shirt all wet..."Liam mumbled adorably, I just can't believe he had to go through something so horrible.

"It's alright it's just a shirt, I can always put a new one on." I replied trying to make him feel better.

"O-ok"He said with an obviously fake smile that made me frown.

"Whats wrong?"He asked quickly.

"You don't have to pretend to be happy around me, I understand that bad things happen and it's good to talk about it and let your tears out." I stated trying to convince him not to fake his emotions around me. Which seemed to work because his smile fell and he was frowning now.

"C-can we watch a movie and cuddle?" He asked with a very cute look on his face. How could I say no to my little cutie.

Jake stop, hes not yours.

"Of course we can." I replied with a smile on me face, which caused him to give me a small smile in return.

I got up and went over to where I had all of my movies set up next to my tv and searched for a movie I thought he would like. I finally found a movie, The Lion King, because who doesn't love that movie.I showed him the disc to which he nodded at letting me know hes okay with watching it.

I put in the movie and then sat down next to him after it started playing. Once I sat next to him he rest his head on my chest and I wrapped my arm around his waist.

I could get used to cuddling with him...
