I was at my locker putting my books away so I could go to lunch but stopped when I heard someone call my name.
"Liam! Liam!" I heard a familiar voice call, so I turned around to find Roxy running over to me.
"Roxy?" I asked, confused as to why she was coming up to me
"Liam please forgive me! I need my best friend back!" She said panting from running over to me. I saw how upset she was and I realized I needed her back too.
"Oh of course I forgive I should have never gotten so mad in the first place!" I admitted while hugging her. " But we need to get to the cafeteria before Jake freaks out."
She nodded and we hooked arms, making our way to the lunch room.
Once we got there I saw Jake sitting alone looking like a sad puppy so I dragged Roxy over there.
"Liam!" Jake exclaimed excitedly as he looked up and saw me sit by him. "You took so long to get here."
"Awwh I'm sorry I was talking to Roxy." I explained while motioning towards the third person at the table as she waved slightly.
"Oh, hi." He said, while snaking an arm around my waist.
"Hey!" She said cheerfully as she started quietly eating her food.
"People keep laughing at me." Jake stated while pouting.
"Well you did shout 'I'm gay for Liam Jacobs' in a crowded school hallway what did you expect to happen?" I asked while chuckling.
"How the hell did I miss that?!" Roxy exclaimed while she still had food in her mouth. I giggled and shook my head at her childish behaviour.
"You came out and pretty much everyone accepted you," he said with a frown. "This is so not fair."
"I also came out in a calm way though." I stated while smirking at him.
We all idly talked to each other and soon the bell went off so we all walked to our classes.
~~~time skip to after school~~~
I asked Jake to come to my house after school so that's how we ended up sitting next each other on my bed with his legs in my lap as we talked.
"Hey sweetie, have you talked to that nice boy yet?" My mom asked sweetly as she opened my bedroom door.
"What boy?" I asked, trying to seem innocent as I felt Jake stiffen beside me.
"The one named Aiden who wanted to ask you out" She said but seemed to notice how angry Jake got. "I'll umm, leave you two alone now."
"I can explain."
