Chapter 12

      Jake and I walked to lunch hand in hand after three hours of torturous classes. Of course we got the occasional dirty look from homophobic pricks, but most people are accepting. Also, Mason and Caleb are open about their relationship now, seeing as Jake outed them.

I don't believe in outing people, but they did kind of have it coming, I just really hope none of them have homophobic parents. No one should have to go through that.

"Cutie?"Jake asked as he waved his hand in my face, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uh yeah?" I answered, realizing we were standing in the line to get food.

"Nothing, sorry, you were just zoning out." He replied as he shrugged his shoulder and grabbed a plate.

"Do you think Caleb or Mason have homophobic parents?" I blurted out as I grabbed my own plate.

"Um, i'm not sure." He said as he gave me a strange."Why do you ask?"

"Well you kind of outed them in front of the whole school,their parents are bound to have heard about it by now."I said while filling my plate with random food that looked good that day.

"They seem to be fine, I wouldn't worry about it." He replied as he led me over to a table where an annoyed Roxy sat.

"Finally!" She whined."You guys are so slow!"

"Thanks Roxy." I said sarcastically.

"Liam!" I looked towards the voice called out my name and I swear my eyes bulged out so much.

"I was looking for you all day!" Aiden exclaimed as he came and sat next to me with his plate of food.

"What are you doing here Aiden?" Jake asked harshly as he put an arm protectively around me."You don't even go to this school."

"I just started today, silly!" He said as he glared a bit at Jake.

"Yay.." I muttered under my breath.

"What was that cutie?" Aiden asked cheerfully.

Well fuck, if Jake wasn't mad before he definitely is now.

"What the hell did you just call my boyfriend?" Jake asked while glaring harshly at Aiden.

"I called him cutie, and I bet he likes it better when I do." Aiden snickered.

"You bitch." Jake seethed as he swung a fist at Aiden and hit his jaw.

Aiden swung back at him and soon the whole cafeteria was surrounding them as I tried to get Jake to stop.He was straddling Aiden's waist while throwing punches at him.

"Jake Thompson!" The principal's voice boomed loudly, causing Jake to stop punching and quickly get off of him. "You two, my office. Now."

Jake and Aiden both quickly started following him, so I did too.

"Not you Mr.Jacobs." Principal Greene said.

"But! he's my boyfriend!" I called out while pointing to Jake.

"I'll be fine Liam." Jake said while giving me a weak smile, seeing as his jaw hurt every time he smiled.

They both followed the principal into his office as I went over and sat with Roxy.

I finally found out that Jake was out of the principal's office and instead in the nurse's office. I rushed over quickly so that I could make sure he's okay.

I knocked quietly on the nurse's door and it opened shortly after revealing the nurse who looked annoyed that another student showed up at her office.

"My boyfriends in there." I stated while trying to look over her shoulder at him but I had not luck seeing him.

"Fine, come in." She replied dully as she went over to a cabinet, seemingly searching for something.

I saw Jake laying on one of the uncomfortably stiff beds and walked over to him quickly.

"How do you feel?"I asked as I brushed some of his hair off of his forehead.

"Fine, Aiden got it way worse."He said proudly with a smirk.

"You idiot." I mumbled as I chuckled slightly."Don't you dare ever do something like that again, ok?"

"Of course, my cutie." He mumbled sleepily as his eyelids closed softly.

"Sweet dreams, baby." I muttered while softly kissing his forehead.
