"Okay! So we all know where we're going, right?" Jinyoung asked his little group as they all looked down at their papers. The group nodded in unison. It was the day after they'd been taken off their dorm arrest, and they would spend the rest of it looking for Youngjae. "Jackson, you're looking in the area near that fried chicken place. Mark, you're going towards the diner, right?" Mark nodded. "Jaebum, you're gonna look around Seoul Station and that general population, and I'll look around near the movie theatre."

"Alright!" Jaebum exclaimed. "Let's go!" They all parted ways when they reached the front door, and ran around asking people if they'd seen the boy in the displayed photo. Mark and Jackson had reached their destinations quite quickly, so they had more time to ask around. Jinyoung and Jaebum, however, had to take public transport, which used up more of their time. They did ask around, though, but got no positive answers.

After a few hours of running around and searching for Youngjae, Jaebum grew tired and hungry, so he decided to stop at a McDonald's. He sat with his chicken nuggets and fries, clearing his head from the dizzying experiences of chasing his friend he may never have found.

It all circled around his head, and it confused him. After looking for so long, and near so many different places, he thought they would find Youngjae for sure. Alas, he and the group had hardly made any progress. Jaebum shoved fries in his mouth, hoping to be able to run around a little more, but he was so worn out already.

In his pocket, he felt a buzz, so he took out his phone quickly. Something in him hoped it would be Youngjae texting him that he was okay, but it was the group chat he was in.

Jackson:

None of you have found him yet, right?

Jackson:

Man, he won't even pick up his phone!

Jinyoung:

His phone died. I don't think he has a charger.

Jaebum:

Yeah, I tried calling him again.

Jaebum:

He didn't pick up :/

Jackson:

He couldn't have gone that far wtf

Jackson:

Idk if I have energy to keep going tonight ㅠㅠ

Jaebum:

Me neither -.-;

Jaebum:

We can look more tomorrow, right?

Jinyoung:

We might find him if we keep looking !!

Mark:

He'll be fine for another day...

Mark:

Jinyoung, I don't want you to overwork yourself. Let's continue tomorrow.

Jinyoung:

Yeah, alright.

Jackson:

Same places we looked today, or ...?

Jaebum:

We might go further tomorrow.

Jaebum:

I'll ask some more around the station.

Mark:

Then we're done today?

Jaebum:

Yeah, I guess.

Jaebum:

I'll see you guys back at school.

"Youngjae," Bambam began, walking out of the kitchen. "I just made some pasta. Come get it while it's hot." He smiled before walking back, and Youngjae followed him.

"Ooh, I like penne," Youngjae chuckled while Bambam spooned some into a bowl for him. "May I put some sauce on it?"

"Yeah, of course." Youngjae quietly poured the sauce over his pasta and grabbed a fork to eat it with. "Come sit with me," Bambam said. "Tell me about your friends." They sat down on Youngjae's mattress and began to talk.

"Well, uh... Jinyoung's been my friend the longest. I've known him since we were kids. He snuck me into the school." Youngjae laughed a little. "His ideas are wild sometimes, but I love him for it, you know? Yeah, he really cares a lot about me..." He sat in thought and ate some more pasta while Bambam sat, waiting to listen more. "Then there's Mark and Jackson... They're kind of a power duo," he giggled. "They're ridiculous, but I like them a lot. Then, uh... Jaebum..."

Youngjae took a long pause to think about Jaebum. He didn't know what to say to Bambam about him. "Jaebum?"

"Ah- yeah! He's the surprise roommate. He kinda freaked me out when I met him for the first time, but I grew to like him quickly... He seems to care about me a lot, too. Hell, this is his jacket," Youngjae laughed. "He brings me food sometimes, and... And, uh..." Youngjae slowed down to sift through every little conversation he'd had with Jaebum, and everything he'd done for him. "Yeah, he's- he's a good guy."

"I've returned!" Yugyeom surprised them with a loud opening of the front door. "Here, Bammie, I bought you this while I was out," he said, handing Bambam an energy drink.

"Ah, thank you!" Bambam stood up quickly to give the younger a hug, making Youngjae laugh a little at how close they seemed to be. Yugyeom then went into the kitchen to put away some of the sweets he bought.

"Oh, you cooked for once! Hell yeah!" Youngjae laughed some more while he finished up his bowl of pasta and went to clean it up. When he returned to his sleeping area, he lie down and yawned.

"I'm going to sleep, okay?" he informed his two new roommates, pulling up his blanket.

"Alright, man," Bambam said. "Night!" And with that, Youngjae had turned to face the wall and closed his eyes, holding the collar to Jaebum's jacket close to his face. There was something comforting about it, but he didn't quite know what. All he knew was that it made him miss the older boy more, but he ignored it as he drifted off to sleep.
