Elizabeth is a depressed and suicidal teen, sent to the hospital for taking too much Tylenol. Dan is an English exchange student, volunteering at a mental hospital after school. After it is discovered that Elizabeth's accident was not so much an accident, she is sent to a mental hospital for a year. It is there that she meets Dan, the one person who gives her a will to live. Will all be well, or will she give in to her mind?
