Chapter 2

We made or way through the swarms of students,all pacing to their lectures.

My science hall was much smaller and had a maximum capacity of 40 students since the majority of space has been taken up by science equipment.Three of the forty students were me and my two best-friends,maz and drew.

Drew was really tall,around 6 foot 2 and skinny and 21 years old.He had black hair which he usually spikes up with gel.I met him two years ago-in science when we were both new.

Maz is 19 years old-the same as me.He was a very successful youtube channel.And as if that wasn't enough to impress,he also plays for London's basketball team with my other best friend,Jayson. Me,maz and jayson share an apartment at wellington court,near hyde park.Drew,Aliyah and Kat live next to us also together.Effectively,their apartment is only used for sleeping purposes because most of the time they come over to my apartment.

"Where do you five live?" I looked over to zayn and louis who were on my right.I had tilt my head up because they were both at least half a foot taller then me.

"Umm,theres a block of flats opposite hyde park next to the wellington museum." Leqning forward to see me from next to zayn.

Wow,thats close to where i live.

"I acutally only live a short 5 minutes-ish from you" i smiled up at louis and zayn. Zayn had beautiful brown eyes,they were VERY similar to mine."and you all live in the same flat?"

"Yeah,we do.its.Much easier to pay the rent when you have four other people."

Its true.Getting a flat in London was very expensive;And getting one next to hyde park makes it even more expensive.I can only afford it because,one i'm sharing the cost and two, both my flat mates get paid a decent amount with their part time-or jaysons full-time job.I contribute with what i earn from teaching dance.

We made a little more small talk and got into science.Our lecturer gave the boys a quick introduction.Now the scary part...

I saw Maz and drew in our normal seat,by the windows on the left side of the class.Maz wasn't facing me but drew was and i held my finger against my mouth to silently tell him not to say anything.i slowly walked up to maz,who was a few inches taller than me, and pressed my fingers ad palm against his side-which i knew was his ticklely spot.He screamed in laughter and instantly turned around and attacked me.

"I knew it would be you!" He said in between the ongoing war and laughter.My eyes were starting to water.

"Stop!mazzzz!" I grabbed both his hands and hid them behind my back bringing our bodies closer.I slowly let go of his hand,our eyes not leaving each others, and put my arm around his waist instead and hugged him tight.He hugged me back,and his chin was resting against my head.

"I missed you maz!" I said,although it probably didn't come our very clear since my mouth was against his cream coloured sweater.He went away for four days because his mother was ill and in hospital. "How is your mum now?" I pulled away a bit and looked up at him.

"I missed you too babe!And yeah shes better now,out of hospital at-least" He looked down and smiled at me.I stood on my tip-toes and placed a kiss on his cheek.

I completely forgot about Zayn and louis,who i guessed were still behind me since drew said "Shannon aren't you going to introduce us to your new friends?"

I took a step back from maz and looked at zayn and louis.

"Oh, i'm so sorry! Okay so zayn,louis, maz and drew "I pointed at each if them as i said there names."they are new to this campus but they moved here from the one in Birmingham so they know everything we do"
