Noelle Armstrong

After sitting at the gas station for about 20 minutes and being hit on by two older guys, I was officially uncomfortable. I sighed every time a car drove by and it turned out not to be Drew.

Then a silver Range Rover drove up and I saw Drew in the driver’s seat. I did a deep sigh of relief and started walking towards the car. He unlocked the door and I slid in. I gave him a small smile when he looked at me expectantly.

He sighed and then started driving. I looked over at him, he was still as gorgeous as I remember. His hair was a little longer but his eyes were exactly the same. When he looked at me, it calmed me in a way. I felt like I was looking deep into the sea. When he noticed me staring at him he smiled. My cheeks turned a deep red in embarrassment.

He interrupted my laugh. “You like what you see?” he asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes playfully at him. He chuckled.

“So how’s life been? I know we haven’t talked since...” he trailed off. I knew what he was talking about. As much as I was hurt about the way things happened between us, I got over it. Of course it sucked, but I was happy I could count on him still.

 Ring!

 Ring!

I looked down at the caller ID and I could tell Drew side eyed to see who it was too. I felt like a tear would fall any second. My eyes glazed a little.I just let it ring as I looked at the window. I watched outside and how peaceful it looked outside.

 Drew Anderson

*When Noelle called him*

Mandy and I were sitting and watching a movie. She starts trying to get closer to me. At first I ignored her. I know it sounds mean but I truly hated this girl, she was needy and rude, but she was hot and I needed someone to “release” with if you know what I mean.

When she realized that didn’t work, she got on my lap straddling me blocking my view of the movie. We were watching my favorite movie Wolverine. It was at the part where he hears that they’re going to make him forget everything and he goes ape shit on all of them. I loved it and this ho was blocking me. I heard my phone ring and I pushed her over to the side to see who it was.

“Unknown number?” I contemplated whether or not I should answer it.

 “Forget about it.”

Mandy whined. Kissing my neck all over. I rolled my eyes.

“It’s time for you to go.” I gave her a stern tone, knowing that I wasn’t going to argue with her.

She was about to say something and then closed her mouth. Good Choice!  I let it ring twice and then answered.

 “Hello?”

“Hey, I know I’d be the last person calling you, but I need help. I need a ride…”

I knew who it was just by her voice. I sighed.

“Text me where you’re at and I’ll be right there.”

I got up and ran upstairs to my room. I was surprised that she still had my number memorized. We had gone out over a year ago. I grabbed my keys and by the time I was downstairs she texted me.

I knew that when we went out and I didn’t text or call her she was going to be hurt. I’m normally not that kind of guy. I care about girls who care about themselves. Plus, my family was threatened and I didn’t want her to be a part of it. See my family is CEOs of multiple companies and we get threatened often but I care for her too much even though we only went out once to put her in the middle.

 Parker Auclaire

I knew this was probably the last time Noey would ever talk to me.

Shit! I kicked a wall. Fuck! That hurt even worse. I tried calling her a few times but it went straight to voicemail. I walked to my car got in and spit out some more not-so-nice terms. Suddenly my phone rang and I pulled it out not even looking at the Caller ID.

“Hello?!” I yelled. “Noey?!”

There was a silence.

“Yeah... it’s me” she started.

“I’m so happy-”

“Listen, I called to tell you to STOP calling me! I don’t want to talk to you.” She yelled out. A piece of me broke knowing that she really was hurt more than even I had expected.

“Noey, I” I started. “Save it.” She murmured and that was the last thing I heard until there was complete silence.

There was only one more thing I could think of to do. I got in my car and drove.

After 15 minutes we were finally to my house. I was shocked that he remembered where I lived. I smiled at the thought that there maybe could be something here. (Don’t Judge me!) I smiled and I opened my door and we walked to the front of my house. I turned around.

“Thanks again.” I looked into his eyes getting lost again.

He smiled.  “No problem.” “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

I turned around to unlock my door but Drew grabbed my wrist.

“Wait,” he started. I turned around.

“There’s been something I’ve wanted to do since we went out last time.” he looked into my eyes and I gulped.

I saw his eyes trail down from my eyes to my lips. He focused on them for a while. Then he leaned in and crashed his lips onto mine. At first I was startled and then I relaxed. I smiled in the kiss.

“What the hell? Noey?!” A familiar voice yelled. I looked at where the voice came from and before I knew it, Drew was on the floor with blood coming out of his nose.
