I was a little stars truck when Mr Kent left my office .

Jenny walked into my office a few minutes after he left. "what was that all about ?" she asks with her arms crossed ."Ooh we got this awesome idea for the thing I want to do for..."she cut me off "Ahg I don't care about that , I mean what happened between the two of you ?" A smile formed on my lips. "Is it wrong if I go out with him? "i say with a small frown on my face .She suddenly sat down on the chair in front of my desk ."No, not at all .Its about time .I mean you never date. Like never ." what ?

"I do date .I..."
"No you make friends .."She says with a small chuckle ."so you kiss your friends , and hold hands?" I retorted back.
"yeah ." This girl is  crazy .
"so what do you do with your boyfriends ?" .i asked but i immediately regret the question i just asked . 
"uhh Char you don't want to know" .
"Ooh I see .well I'm not going to have sex with someone unless I have feelings and know that it is going somewhere ."I finish with folding my arms, showing I was uncomfortable with the subject. "Calm down char , I get it I really do .I'm just saying you always hide from the public ,you never go out with guys anymore ."Shit, I still haven't called Devon yet ."uuh sorry can you get us some more coffee please ?"She stood up "okay, uh expresso ?" "uhh no can you get me a cappuccino with  cream on top ?".she nods her head and walks out shutting the door on her way.

I put Devon's number into the land line .It rang about 4 times before he picked up .
"hello ?"
"Good day am I speaking to Devon ?" I don't know why I ask, I already recognized his voice ."yes this is he ,who am I speaking to ?"I gave a slight pause."Devon it's me Charlotte .can you please come in to the office today , i know its already in the afternoon , but you just need to be here for an hour or two ?"he gave a slight sign and spoke again ."uhh can it be later ? I have a thing going on ." there was a knock on my door and Cindy walked in . She saw I was on the phone and just took a seat.
"Okay Devon listen up , I give you 2 hours to get into my office ..It is already 14 : 30 so if you still want a job here or a place on this team you need to get here  .I have to go, someone just walked into my office .I'll hopefully see you in the next two hours ."with that I put the phone down .I felt a bit bad , but his attitude and the way he said it was as if he didn't have a care in the world .so I gave him two hours so he can think about it and figure out what ever is going on in his life . realizing i'm still in my own thoughts I snap out of it. "Hi Cindy ,how are you darling ?" she gives me a sympathetic smile ."I'm good sweetheart , why do I get the feeling you aren't doing so well ?"I just frown and shake my head ."good guess. Its Devon ..he is acting really irresponsible ."she nods her head .
"Oh yes , Martha told me about it ." My cell phone starts to ring and I pick it up .

"Hi ,this is Charlotte speaking ."

"hi ,it's me ."I recognized his voice ,but I decided to act as if I don't know who was on the other side of the call. I block the speaker with my hand "Sorry darling ,but I have to take this , can we continue later ?"
"yes sure thing sweetheart . i have to go i just wanted to check in and say hi . ill see you tomorrow . love you "

"I love you too . See you tomorrow .I said ,she smiles and walks out and shutting the door behind her .

"uhhm and that is ?"

" Peter ." he says as if its obvious . wait , his name is peter ? i think to myself realizing i didn't even get his first name today .

"Peter ?"i ask .

"Yeah me... Mr Kent ."
